You can see that a book is good when a filler chapter such as these are so much fun to read. I would not care if there was more of this. Keep up the good work, author. My regards to the order.
What i meant was the chapters where you dont see the MC around or that doesnt push main plot forward. Glimpses of the future, past or present through different perspectives, often not the MC's, but a different person's view, be them related to the MC or not. Yet they are written in such a way where you can feel joy with every sentence, because the world building and the quality of the writing is so good you dont care if the MC is around or not. For this novel in specific, it goes past this level and beyond, such is the quality of Rinoz's work.
Caiofoca:But that's acually more canon than anything could ever be. Torpor is a completely relevant thing to get a dedicated chapter. Jokes aside, this is the kind of chapter that greatly complement the world building. Nicely done. ;3
This feels weird. Not only is the Torpor police an actual cult. But they actually like torpor!! Are they even ants?!? And oh my Eldest, the nests would be so hard to invade with paths like the nameless one took. You'll be ambushed all the time. And this is part 1? Oh yes!!! More secret shenanigans and SS type behavior. This is fun!
