Not the US, health insurance is mandatory and provided by the employer. It's something you buy only if you want greater control or higher level of benefits.
Right that would be the human perspective. But say for example 14 billion earth years is 1/12 of an Elysian cycle. 12 Elysian cycles = 12 years. 1/12 of a year = 1 month. So this relative 12 year old child has been doing the same thing for the past month. Boredom in this context is understandable.
The third novel is somehow gonna be connected as well. Well, see you all there!
This is how I'm reading the name: ma-quicks-o-chi-tul.
Very minor spoiler. Read at your own risk. Archmages are Rank 5.
If you want to be picky about it then sure, the previous 2 had a question mark at the end. Still doesn't make much of a difference.
This is the third time a title's been named Affinities. Not complaining, but it's just a little odd.
I'm guessing the Archmages are either rank 6 or 7. Such a low tier scout shouldn't have info of the stronger people.
The author has contracted the a very rare disease known as being competent.
It specifically says perfect time. Plus, he's doing it on his own. I'm pretty sure there is some pill or something that can change the perfect time to start.
Although people do kill people, guns are an avenue of causing more harm. Its a really interesting topic actually. If you read studies done in European countries and about pre gun era, you will learn that guns facilitate death to a higher degree than any other weapon. The reason is twofold. First, it's really easy to kill someone with a gun instead of say a sword or a baton. Second, the range provided by a gun works like a mental buffer. You don't quite understand the concequences of what you are doing unless you are in melee range or are a soldier.
When he got into the accident at 21, he was at the hospital for 5 years, and an unknown amount of time for the experimentation. So his actual age can be anything 26+. The author mentioned this in an earlier chapter.
Courrpted truck-kun...
Just shows the sad realities of the wealth gap.
You are underestimating how much money people at the top make.
Also as a note, because of taxes and stuff, your effective income would actually be half of what I said previously.
My guy, you need to read again. If the next promotion is to a section chef level position, then in any company, this is average level monthly income. Sure not in salary, that the author needs to fix. But if you add in bonus and stock options, it's pretty average. As a reference, a person who's just finished their PhD and gets into a really good company will earn anywhere form $300k to $500k a year as their starting salary.
