Calling it now! While tinkering with his mechs in preparation for the duel, Ves stumbles on something big. Completely by chance, he somehow turns a normal mech into a Masterwork! He quickly comes to his senses, dismantles the thing, and pretends it never happened, hoping the incident doesn't reach his wife's ears.

3 chapters ago, ves found out he was set up as political bait in his duel, and 3 chapters later, it's still the same thing . The plot must continue......

Is pragmatic take this approach but is wise. But on a duel victory matters more that anything, dont need to be elegant only ethical.

Dr.Navarro might be in it for a bigger share of the pie offered by the LRA. It's not impossible that a single mech designer want to impress the LMC fanatics who happen to be quite numerous.

politics is the bane to most if not all achievers in order to advance their merits. one they have to over come the bigotry of ideas people who are set in their ways not willing to change. two gas lighting arguments where one side trys to convince the other side that they are the definer of truth "who do you believe me or your lying eyes" is a common tactic. three straw man tactical argument where they use broad ideas to cover narrow views "evil is bad, killing is bad, people who kill are evil and bad, mech kill so bad, people who drive mech are evil and bad" this is common thinking of the idea. politics perpetuate this to a fine art that lazy informed population will fall into the trap easily. the sad part is that these are just basic tactics.😧
