Weight != Mass - An antigravity unit in the shield would neither speed up a bash (unless bashing upwards vs gravity) nor provide more momentum... an Inertial Modification Module (or something along those lines) would be what you want which would affect the mass. but thanks for the chapter anyways :)

I would say that Ves's biggest reason for failing to achieve the X-factor is that he's trying too hard to incorporate it into his mechs. He wasn't as focused on the X-factor when he designed both the Agustus variants or the Unicorn. He was more focused on their effectiveness in battle.
