That Curious Feeling!

I got home, or well, carried home. Today was honestly a blur, I checked my phone and saw that almost everyone called my phone. Did I worry them that much? I mean, I guess I did get knocked out by a Nomu, and broke some ribs. Other than that, I got cleared to go to school once things get situated since Recovery Girl healed me. I couldn't really fall back asleep, it was only 8:20 PM anyway. I called Momo to tell her that I was alright, I'm surprised she picked up the phone as quick as she did.

"Leonidus-kun? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I had to get treated by Recovery Girl, I had a few broken ribs, nothing to serious." I told her.

"Nothing serious? You literally got punched by something designed to kill All Might." Momo replied.

"Well, if it went all out, it would've most likely killed me, so at least I didn't die?" I chuckled.

"You're something else, honestly." Momo slightly laughed and sighed.

She was kinda right, putting myself in harm's way for others wasn't exactly the best tactic, but in order for me to become the hero I want to be, I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect all of them. I said goodbye to Momo and hung up. I keep feeling that weird jittery feeling whenever I talked to her, maybe I should actually talk about it with her. I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling, everything felt so unreal. It was almost as if I was in a comic book. I heard a tap on my window, I looked over, and sitting on my window ledge was Himiko!

[The Next Day...]

I hung out with Ojiro today, I told him about everything that happened with Himiko and I a while back, he look very intrigued.

"Interesting, so what Kirishima-san told me was true, you really got attacked by her? Have the police found her or anything?" Ojiro asked.

"No, they haven't. I'm surprised that she hasn't been caught yet, especially with my sister on the lookout for her. It's kind of scary, you know?." I answered.

I looked down at the ground, and then back up towards the horizon.

"So, I've got a question. This isn't about Himiko it's about... Someone else." I told him.

"Is it about Yaoyorozu-san?" Ojiro hinted.

I felt my face start to heat up, "N-No! It's... Yeah, maybe. I just get this weird jittery feeling whenever I'm around her. We've been talking ever since I met up with her again on the first day of school. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it."

"Oh, I see. Well, if you'd like to know, she talks an awful lot about you. I'm pretty sure everyone is starting to connect the dots together." Ojiro responded.

"Really? Is it that obvious?" I questioned.

"Yeah, so it seems, but I wouldn't confront her about it. I'd take things slow and wait, it won't help to make things awkward." He advised.

I nodded in agreement, "Okay, I can do that. That doesn't sound hard."

Almost as if she knew we were talking about her, Momo called my phone. I answered it. Ojiro smiled and nodded at me.

"Hey, how's it going?" I asked.

"It's going quite well. I've got a question for you, Leonidus-kun." She replied.

"Uh huh, let's hear it." I smiled.

"So... I was wondering if you'd like to go to the market with me today. I may need the extra hands." Momo asked.

"Oh, sure! I'll head over to you once I'm done hanging out with Ojiro-san!" I answered.

"Alright! See you soon!" Momo hung up.

I looked at Ojiro, "See what I mean? You're really the only guy that she talks to outside of school. You can go to her now if you'd like."

"Okay, thank you, Ojiro-san!" I nodded.

[1 Hour Later...]

I made my way to Momo's house and I rang her doorbell. I put my hands in my pockets as I waited. I still couldn't believe how huge her house was, now that I've gotten a proper look at it. Momo walked out all done up with makeup and had a purse with her.

"Hey, I can't thank you enough for helping me out with this." Momo smiled.

I was staring at her, but I blinked out of my trance, "Y-Yeah! No problem! So where's this market at?"

"It's just a couple blocks away from U.A. It's not too far from here. Oh, one more thing as well." Momo told me.

Momo handed me the top of my hero costume, "I figured you'd like to have this back, don't worry, I washed it yesterday."

"Oh... T-Thank you!" I grinned.

We began our long walk to this market place. I heard a scream to the left of us and Mina fell to the ground.

"Mina-san? What are you doing here? Do you live around here?" I asked.

"Oh... Um... Y-Yeah! Yeah, I do!" She nervously laughed.

Mina brushed herself off and hurried down the street. I was confused, was something wrong?

"That was rather odd... I wonder if everything's alright?" I wondered.

"Oh, I'd imagine so. Come on, we don't have all day, you know!" Momo changed the subject.

After walking about 20 minutes or so, we made it to this market. There were quite a lot of people here, this definitely wasn't here yesterday. It must be one of those farmers market things. Momo and I, mainly me, walked out with a bunch of bags of fruits and vegetables. I followed Momo to somewhere that overlooked a beach.

"Wow, look at that..." Momo smiled.

I sat the bags down on the ground and walked next to her. She was right, looking at the sunset on the horizon, I never seen anything like it. I leaned over the railing and stared down at the beach below.

"I never thought I'd see anything like this, it's beautiful!" I beamed.

I looked back and noticed that the bags were gone! I sighed and Momo looked down at where the bags were as well.

"That's a shame. Oh well! Trust me, I could buy out this entire market if I chose to." Momo brushed it off.

"Yeah, I guess so. Whoever took them must be long gone by now." I added.

We stood there and watched the sunset, it was rather relaxing. The ocean waves crashing against the rocks, the wind gently blowing and the seagulls chirping nearby was really soothing. I glanced over at Momo who looked upset for some reason. She was looking at something out of the corner of her eye and then looked to her left. I remembered what Ojiro told me today and decided to make a move. I rested my head on my hand and used my other hand to grab Momo's. I saw her look at me out of the corner of my eye as I stared at the ocean.

"Remember what you told me before we left for the U.S.J.? How you didn't think your Quirk made you useful?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah, I do. What about it?" Momo replied.

"You shouldn't think that about yourself. What happened at the U.S.J. proved that your Quirk is useful. But you shouldn't let a Quirk define whether or not you're hero material, Yaoyorozu-san. We're all useful in someway." I reassured.

Momo looked down at the ground, I could tell she was smiling. I looked towards her and softly smiled. Something caught my eye and I looked up, I noticed that Mina, Jiro, and Hagakure were hiding behind a wall! I didn't even bother to notice that the Uraraka and Tsu were here as well! I knew Mina was acting strange for a reason when I saw her!
