Class Elections! The Attack on the U.S.J.

School today is gonna be a breeze! I bet we aren't gonna do anything too extreme since we had a test already.

"Hey, Leonidus-kun! Did you hear about those class elections we'll be holding this afternoon?" Yaoyorozu asked as she ran up to me.

"Class elections? That sounds interesting!" I responded.

I wonder if they have people running for whatever spot they have, unless it's for all of us, maybe?

"Speaking of school, you did pretty good on that Hero Vs. Villain thing. Your Quirk really is something else!" I complimented.

She looked at me and looked down. Was she blushing?

"Y-You...You really think so?" She asked.

"Of course! That Quirk of yours is really cool!" I beamed.

Momo looked down at the ground, "Well, I mean, I'm not sure if I'm exactly useful. It takes me a while to create things, plus I have to understand how they're created and what exactly the compounds are made of."

"So, you can do this anytime you want?!" I exclaimed.

I'm not sure why she's so down on herself, she's got an amazing ability!

"Well, I need to eat first before I can make anything. My Quirk uses the lipids in my body from the food I eat in order to make anything. That's why I really don't think I'm too useful..." She explained.

Her Quirk and mine were kind of similar! Except for the part where I had to eat things and the whole creating stuff with lipids.

"What do you mean? You crushed that training exercise! You aren't useless, that Quirk of yours is super cool! Just because you aren't confident in your abilities yet, that doesn't mean you're useless, that's what I think. I'm sure at one point I felt the same way as you, Yaoyorozu-san, but you shouldn't let that hold you back." I warmly smiled at her.

She looked at me as I smiled at her, her hair flowed in the wind after I said those words. I started to run towards U.A., I looked back and waved at her.

"I'll see you in class! Don't be so hard on yourself, alright?" I beamed.

[A Few Hours Later...]

"Okay, everyone, put your votes in the box. I'll count them out and announce the results to the class." Mr. Aizawa told us.

We sat there in anticipation, waiting to see who would be Class Representative and Vice Representative. Mr. Aizawa finished counting up the total number of votes, he stood in front of the class with a sheet of paper.

"Alright, with the highest number of votes for Class Representative is... Izuku Midoriya. The highest amount of votes for Vice Representative after a near tie is... Alyx Leonidus." He announced.

W-Woah! This was awesome! I think being a Vice Representative is cool but... I looked over at Yaoyorozu, maybe she would be more deserving of it, especially after what she told me. Izuku and I stood up in front of the class, he was trembling quite a bit.

"Hey, I'd like to thank you all for your votes, but..." I spoke up.

"Huh? But what, man?" Kirishima wondered.

"I'd like to politely decline, although the opportunity to be your Vice Rep is really humbling, I think someone else deserves the spot. I want everyone to do their best, in order to do that, I believe that someone else needs to give it their best shot. You know, someone that's holding a lot more Plus Ultra spirit that what they think they have." I smiled.

Everyone looked around at each other. I should probably make my choice during lunch time. Which just so happened to be right about... Now! The bell rang, dismissing all of us to lunch. I packed started to pack my things up.

"Hey, Yaoyorozu-san. Would you like to walk with me to lunch?" I asked.

"O-Okay! Sure!" She agreed.

We got our things packed up, we left the classroom, I stopped in the now empty hallway.

"I'd like you to be Vice Representative." I admitted.

"You... You want me to be Vice Representative? I know you said you declined it, but you've rightfully earned the spot." Momo responded.

I nodded at her, "Yes, I do. You honestly deserve it more than I do. A lot of people will listen to you, you're the smartest person in our class, you know what you're talking about. If anyone should be in a leadership position, it should be you!"

Momo looked down at her clasped hands, she looked back up at me then nodded back.

"Okay, I'll accept your position!" She smiled.

[1 Hour Later...]

"Alright class, I know it's been rather hectic today, but this should be somewhat calming. It's only training, so it should be easy for most of you. It's rescue exercise for your Basic Hero Training classes." Mr. Aizawa announced.

We left the classroom after Mr. Aizawa and went to grab our hero costumes. He said that we were heading off-campus for this exercise, but I honestly have a bad feeling about this. After putting our hero costumes on, we all boarded a bus to head to the facility. It was called the U.S.J., which was a lot easier to say than the actual name. Bakugo sat next to me on the bus, and it was pretty quiet for the whole ride until he freaked out at Tsuyu for saying he's too angry all the time. Which, I 100% agree with her. Kirishima looked over at me and gestured his eyes to the left of me. I looked over and Bakugo was staring right at me.

"Geez!" I shouted.

I wasn't expecting that at all. Bakugo gestured his hand at me and told me to move over. Right after I did that, Bakugo fell asleep in the spot that I was in. Wonderful. I sat down on the floor of the bus which was quite the experience. I eventually got up and sat by Mineta.

"So, Leonidus-kun, I've got a question for you." Mineta whispered.

I looked down and leaned forward.

"Do you see Yaoyorozu-san over there? She's looking hot, isn't she?" Mineta smirked.

"Is she? I mean, she doesn't look like she's overheating. Let me ask her." I responded.

"N-No, wait!" Mineta tried to stop me.

I walked over to Momo and Jiro.

"O-Oh, hey, Leonidus-kun! What do you need?" Momo asked.

"Mineta-san told me you were looking hot, so I came over to make sure that you weren't overheating or anything. I can use my Quirk to cool you down!" I told her.

Momo's face went bright red and Jiro started laughing. Which then right after, Jiro suddenly stopped laughing, and got up just to smack Mineta in the face with one of her earphone jacks.

[25 Minutes Later...]

It felt like hours, but we arrived at the U.S.J. When we walked in, we were greeted by some astronaut lady.

"Hello aspiring heroes! I'm Space Hero: Thirteen! I'm here to guide you with your rescue training!" Thirteen introduced herself.

Space Hero? Do I have to put some sort of extension onto my hero name too? There are so many questions I need to ask!

"Your powers are not meant to inflict harm. I hope you leave here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people." Thirteen advised.

She showed us a short introduction of the facility and everything we needed to do. Everything was going really smooth, but I felt something odd. I seized up and a took a quick breath in. I don't know why, but something felt wrong.

"Leonidus-kun, are you alright?" Iida ran over to me before I fell to the ground.

"Something's not right, not at all." I muttered.

I looked over to the middle of the facility and seen a dark portal open up and what seemed like hundreds of people exiting out of it. 3 people stood prominent from the rest of them, one with a bunch of hands on him, one that look like the portal itself, and a giant bird monster.

"Stay back! Thirteen, protect the kids! Iida, alert the teachers at U.A., hurry!" Mr. Aizawa yelled.

What was going on, were these actual villains?! I thought this place was protected; how did they find us? Thirteen stood guard as that portal guy disappeared, he somehow teleported right behind us! Kirishima and Bakugo rushed him but missed him completely, but how?! They were right in front of him! What do I even do? Mr. Aizawa is taking down those other guys as if he was cutting through butter, and we're sitting here doing nothing!

"Stand back everyone! I don't want you to get caught in this black hole!" Thirteen ordered.

She created a black hole using her finger to suck that portal guy in, but somehow, he teleported the black hole behind Thirteen! Then, all of the sudden I got hit with a wave of darkness, was I going to die? No, I'm still breathing. I got up from the ground and noticed Kaminari, Jiro, and Momo were here as well. Wherever "here" was. It looked like the mountain terrain. We were surrounded by villains, this was the real deal, not some sort of test.

"What do we do?" Momo asked.

I looked around, they were getting closer to us, they must not know what our Quirks are.

"Jiro-san, do you think you could create a shockwave using your Quirk?" I questioned.

Jiro looked over to me and nodded, "Sure can!"

She sent her earphone jacks down into the ground and created a huge shockwave that sent most of the villains flying! We charged into battle now that the numbers were a lot better to manage, I knocked out a few villains as Momo, Jiro, and Kaminari were taking care of the other ones. But, as we regrouped, they all stood back up!

"What now? They keep getting up!" Jiro yelled.

We couldn't run from these guys, there were too many of them. What do we do?

"Kaminari-kun, can you incapacitate these guys with your electricity?" Momo questioned.

"I can try, but I might go brain dead for a bit!" He shouted at us.

Brain dead? It's not what we need right now, but it's worth the risk! Momo created a large blanket to protect us from Kaminari's electricity.

"It's time for 1.3 million volts!" He shouted.

Kaminari let loose his Quirk, it only took a few seconds before we heard nothing but silence. We got out from under the blanket and looked at Kaminari. He was standing there with smoke coming off him. He turned around to face us and had a weird look on his face.

"Whey... Whey..." Kaminari mumbled.

He kept pointing his thumbs up and Jiro chuckled. Suddenly, some guy came behind Kaminari and held him hostage!

"Don't you dare move! Or I'll kill this idiot friend of yours!" He held a gun to Kaminari as he was still in his brain-dead state.

"Kaminari-kun!" We yelled.

What do we do? We can't move or he'll die. If Iida had been with us, he'd be able to knock that guy out before he could pull the trigger, Tsuyu could've used her tongue to take the gun out of his hands. What do we do, what do I do? I stopped, everything felt hopeless. My brain was stuck, what should I do? Suddenly, I felt something. I... I remembered something.

"𝘋𝘢𝘥, 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘦, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥?" I remembered.

I looked at Kaminari, then Momo and Jiro. I looked back at where everyone else would be. I was going to protect them, no matter what! I need to be faster, faster than before! I felt heat surround my body, it felt like time slowed down, just like how it went when I saved Momo. In a flash, I was over at the villain holding Kaminari hostage, I knocked the gun out of his hand, and kicked him straight in the jaw. It sent him into the ground unconscious. I stood up and looked at Kaminari.

"Woah, Leonidus-kun, what's going on with you?" Momo wondered.

I looked at her confused, what exactly did she mean?

"I... Is that your Quirk?" Jiro questioned.

I looked at myself, I was surrounded in a violet-blue aura for a split second.

"Woah, how did I...?" I muttered.

My Quirk deactivated on its own and I went to help Kaminari.

"Are you alright, Kami?" I asked.

"Whey!" He yelled.

"I'll take that as a yes!" I replied.

I heard something fall to the ground. I turned around and Jiro was using her earphone jacks to cover Momo's...

"O-Oh my!" I exclaimed.

I guess when she created that blanket, it completely ripped her leotard! I had an idea, I ripped the top of my hero costume off and hurried over to her. The only thing that didn't go with the top of my hero costume were my gloves, they didn't look like single pieces?

"Here, put this on." I handed my hero costume top to her.

"Look at you, it seems as if there are such things as gentlemen!" Jiro smirked.

Momo put the top of my hero costume on and we focused on the situation at hand.

"We need to head back to the entrance, I think Thirteen is still up there!" Momo told us.

We started to head back to the entrance when I saw Izuku flying by towards that bird monster.

"Change of plans, you guys go to Thirteen, I'm heading to Izuku-kun and that ugly bird thing!" I shouted.

I ran towards Izuku, right before that creature hit him, I kicked right through its arm. I noticed I was in my Base Mode, so what did I do when I saved Kaminari?

"Oh, look at that, another damn wannabe. Piss off, will you?" Shigaraki mumbled.

"What the hell do you want? What are you even doing?" I questioned.

He simply just laughed at me, almost as if it was stupid to ask the question.

"Nomu, destroy them!" He ordered.

That must be what this creature is! I looked over and noticed that it had two arms instead of one, didn't I just kick one off? The Nomu unleashed a fist, faster than what I could dodge. I pushed Izuku out of the way and the Nomu's fist hit me full force. All I remember is getting sent flying before I blacked out.

[A Few Hours Later...]

I woke up in Recovery Girl's room. Izuku and my parents were there as well.

"Alyx! Oh, my goodness, are you alright!?" My Mother hugged me and gave me a kiss on the head.

I looked over and seen Izuku and... All Might? How come I didn't notice him before? He looks so different, but that Heat he's giving off tells me that it's him.

"You got hit pretty hard, Young Leonidus. You saved Young Midoriya's life. We thank you for that." All Might smiled.

I couldn't speak, it felt like my throat was swollen, so I nodded. I grabbed my throat to signal that something was wrong. My Father put his hand on it and healed it. I coughed up some blood, so maybe that's why I couldn't speak?

"De... ku... I-I remembered something... Today..." I struggled to say, "When we were separated... I remembered something t-that I think that... I said a while ago."

Izuku, All Might, and my parents were looking at me.

"What was it? Was it about your Quirk?" All Might asked.

"No... I remember something I asked you, Dad. It was about if you'd protect me, even if you were gone. I guess that's what sparked me saving Deku-kun and Kaminari-san." I felt a warm sensation in the room, almost as if everyone was comforted by this.

"Alyx...That's great! At least you remembered something, even if it's minor, it's good!" My Father smiled.

I guess my Father wasn't exactly good at reassurance since he got looks from my Mother after he said that.
