Wrong information.

"Lana, Mr. Raveno wants you to come to his office." One of the female employees suddenly came up to Lana and told her that Darren had asked her to come to his office. Suddenly, Lana was confused and surprised. She didn't know why Darren had asked her to come into his room, but it managed to keep Lana from moving.

"Well. Thank you," said Lana, watching the female employee leave. Lana then got up from her chair and rushed to Darren's study which was upstairs.

Arriving at the door to Darre's study, Lana took a deep breath before throwing it out. She stared at the door in front of her in disbelief. Her hand touched the doorknob without any intention of pulling it down to open the door. But Lana had to go inside and find out why Darren had told her to come.

Lana took another deep breath and opened the door. Darren is seen talking to Rafael on the L-shaped sofa, busy talking about work matters. The sound of the door opening made both men turn towards Lana at the same time.

"S-sorry to interrupt you two, but I heard you told me to come to your room," Lana quickly explained. She was still standing in front of the door that was still open without daring to move his feet.

"Me?" Darren asked with a confused face.

"Yeah, one of the female staff said you told me to come to your room," Lana informed.

"I've been talking to Rafael earlier. I didn't tell you to come here Lana," Darren said.

"But-"

"Who's telling you?" asked Rafael.

"I don't know her name."

Rafael and Darren exchanged glances before Darren told Lana to enter the room.

"Come in!" Darren's orders.

Lana closed the door and walked over to the sofa. She stood a few steps away from Darren wringing his hands together nervously.

"Sit down!"

Lana swallowed her saliva when she received an order from Darren who seemed pushy. She then sat in front of the small sofa facing Rafael and Darren.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Sit over there."

"You want me to just sit here?" Lana looked confused by what Darren had said.

"Yes."

"What for? I'd better go back to my desk so as not to interfere with your work," said Lana, about to get up from her sofa but didn't because of Darren's words.

"Sit down!" Darren ordered, "and stop being so formal with me. There's no one in this office but Rafael."

"But-"

"Just do it!"

"Y-yes."

"Are you sure you want her here?" asked Raphael to confirm.

"Hmm."

Rafael glanced at Lana and their eyes met briefly before Lana dropped her gaze to the floor at her feet. What should she do in a room where two men are discussing a work problem she doesn't understand? Right now she was like a stupid wax statue.

Lana only watched Darren who had been talking to Rafael without daring to move her body or mouth. She sat quietly, occasionally glancing at Darren who looked serious about what she was discussing with Rafael. The man was completely different from the impression that Lana had felt. This was the first time Lana had seen Darren's appearance when he was different. Looks dignified, serious, and also a little fierce. But it made Lana sure that Darren's quality in running his company to where it today deserves a thumbs up. Darren must have done everything well for his company to become a successful real estate company.

"Take her to buy a dress for tomorrow night," Darren said later.

Lana winced as Darren said the word 'she' while glancing at her. Does 'she' mean herself? Impossible!

"All right."

"Watch yourself, Rafael," Darren said reminding Rafael not to be rude to Lana.

"I see, Darren," said Rafael.

Darren then closed the document in his hand and placed it on the table.

"Go to buy clothes with Rafael. He will deliver and accompany you shopping, "said Darren.

"Shop?! I? Suddenly?!"

"Hmm."

"F-for what?!"

Lana couldn't hide her panic and surprise when Darren got up from the sofa and neither did Rafael. Lana also stood up with a panicked look that made her brow furrow.

"You'll find out later."

"Wait! But, I-"

"Just do it, Lana. And don't ask too many questions!" Darren exclaimed, he then turned to Rafael. "Immediately take her home after returning from shopping," he said later.

"Alright."

"Darren! I'm still working!"

"I'll tell the manager in your department that you're leaving early."

"But-"

"You argue too much, Lana." Darren walked over to Lana. "One more thing. I remind you to keep your manners while working. Don't let anyone know about the two of us. You understand?"

"But I was only told to come here. I don't know anything about—"

"Darren didn't tell anyone to tell you to come to his room, Lana," Rafael said.

"But I'm not lying!"

"Just this once, I'll let it go. But next time don't do it again, Lana."

"What?! I didn't even do anything wrong, but why are you blaming me, Darren!"

"Go out. I told you to leave, Lana!"

Lana squeezed her hand in annoyance. She just did what the female staff told her, but why did she get angry with Darren? Darren's rude attitude really hurt her. Why didn't Darren listen to her explanation, didn't want to listen to everything she said and instead just blamed her?

"I hate you, Darren!"

Lana stamped her feet in annoyance and walked out of Darren's study.

Darren looked at the departure of Lana who came out of his room with an annoyed face. He took a deep breath, then turned to Rafael.

"Check the CCTV and see who told her to come to my room!" Darren's orders.

"Well. Who do you think told Lana to come into your room when you weren't?"

Darren shrugged his shoulders. "Don't tell Lana about this."

"I understand. You don't want to take Lana straight away to buy clothes?"

"I purposely gave you time to be nice to her."

"Hey, Darren! My thoughts about Lana have changed a bit, but that doesn't mean I'm giving the two of you the green light."

"You're not my parents, Rafael. I don't need your green light to get permission."

Rafael then left Darren's room to go out, accompanying Lana to buy clothes according to what Darren had ordered her to do. Before that, Rafael immediately checked the CCT to see who was talking to Lana and told her to come to Darren's room even though Darren didn't order.

The female staff member with waist-length hair seemed to be talking to Lana and walked away. Just before Lana went to meet Darren in his room.
