Dangerous Man.

Lana was immediately pulled away by Daisy as soon as it was lunchtime. Daisy led Lana to an empty meeting room to ask about last night's matter.

"What happened to you and Mr. Revano? Are you guys really in a relationship?" Daisy pushed Lana into the swivel chair behind her.

"Did David say anything last night after I left there?" Lana asked back. Afraid that David might say something bad to Daisy.

"I'm asking you, Lana. Don't change the subject," Daisy said, "David didn't say anything to me. He left immediately after you were dragged out by Mr. Raveno. And I couldn't sleep at night because of the shock of what happened. I texted you and you didn't reply at all. Did you two spend the night together?"

"You think I'm crazy?! I can't spend the night with my own boss, Daisy!" Lana said in an annoyed tone. She was about to stand up, but Daisy pushed herself back to stay seated while Daisy pulled out another chair for her to sit on.

"Then explain to me what happened. Why is Mr. Raveno there and say that you are his."

"H-he's just trying to help me," Lana lied.

"Help you how? Say it clearly, Lana," protested Daisy curiously.

"Darren… I mean our boss is Christian's nephew. You know that Stefanny married Christian and I attended their wedding. I accidentally met him and yes, a little introduction there, "said Lana making her own lie to cover the truth that happened between her and Darren. There's no way Lana could tell about how she sold herself and was bought by a man who is now the boss and nephew of her stepmother's husband.

Darren asks her to keep her mouth shut about their relationship. Especially now that Darren has become her boss at the company where she works. If the office staff found out, what would they think of her? Lana shook her head. No, no. That can't happen to her. She just got a job and started a new life. Do not let everything be destroyed because of her relationship with Darren in the past.

"Oh my gosh, Lana! what should I do to you? Why are you so lucky?!"

Lucky your ancestors! Lana thought to herself.

Meeting Darren was a misfortune!

"I've been unlucky, Daisy and I aren't close to Christian or his family either. We only met at a party. Just that."

"I'm one hundred percent sure that Darren has feelings for you. As David said, it looks like you're working for this company because Darren told the staff to take you in."

"Don't be silly, Daisy. If so, Darren did it only because I had a little relationship with Christian's wife. Just that. He felt sorry for me. No more."

Pity? Seriously. A Darren Raveno couldn't possibly have pity. The man just wanted to play with her. Especially with what happened last night. Lana really had to keep her distance from Darren because he was so dangerous.

#FLASHBACK ON#

"Darren, stop it! Let me go!"

Lana shrieked loudly. Her voice was shrill, slipping smoothly into Darren's ears. Her body revolted while her hands were firmly locked above her head. Her legs twitched trying to kick Darren's body which was on top of her but to no avail. Darren's strength is far away from her. This man was too strong for his petite body to resist.

"Da… Darren. What are you… let go of me!"

Lana kept trying to struggle to be released. The sofa on which they were resting was shaking because of Lana's rebellious actions, but her efforts were in vain. She couldn't do anything when Darren kissed her neck forcefully. The struggle and even the kick from her feet did not ignite Darren's action which continued to leave a reddish trail on her white neck area.

"D-Darren, you must be crazy!"

He didn't even react to every word Lana threw at Darren. His lips were too busy enjoying Lana's neck to reply to the woman's harsh words.

When Darren pulled away and looked into Lana's teary eyes, the man just smirked seeing what the result of his kiss on Lana's neck was.

"Perfect."

"You are crazy! You crazy bastard!" cursed Lana with angry eyes. "Let go of me, Darren! Let me go!"

"Meet your ex-girlfriend and see how he reacts when he sees this kiss mark on your neck."

"Why should I do it!"

"He has to know whom he is trying to flirt with. You're mine, Lana. No man should ever come near, let alone try to touch you."

"You're out of your mind, Darren! I'm not your mine. I assure you, I am not yours. Especially your woman!" cried Lana, "we have an agreement. You promised to let me go if I wanted to sleep with you again! I did it. Stop bothering me or I—"

"Or what, Lana? there's nothing you can do. I never said yes. You assumed it yourself, so don't blame me."

"Liar!"

"If only you hadn't gone and pissed me off, I probably wouldn't have taken the time to play with you."

"I… I did it out of necessity. I didn't mean to—"

"It's too late, Lana. Your regrets are no longer valid. Both then and now, you must be willing to serve me whenever I want. You can't run from me anymore." Lana trembled under Darren as he glared at her. "Don't try to run away from me again, because I won't let you off easily."

"I will resign! I want to resign!"

Darren smirked. "Try sending your resignation letter and you'll see how much compensation you have to pay. As an educated woman, you should read your employment contract carefully, Lana," he said scornfully.

"You… you sneaky asshole, Darren!"

#FLASHBACK OFF#

Lana touched the scarf around her neck nervously. Because of what Darren did, she had to go to work wearing a scarf to cover the red marks on his neck.

"Lana, what are you doing?"

"No … it's okay. I'm fine."

"Are you sure? How dare you wear a scarf?"

"O-oh this… it's because of me… I'm cold. Yeah, it's really cold in the office, so I'm wearing a scarf around my neck," Lana stuttered. He held on to his scarf nervously in case of Daisy suddenly squeezed the scarf around his neck.

"Is that true?" Daisy asked for sure.

"Y-yes… Daisy, I want to ask you a favor. Please don't tell anyone about this… I mean, about how I know Darren. I don't want the office people to know. This also includes Darren's request. So, please… please keep this matter a secret from anyone. I beg you," Lana begged.

"Who do you think I am, hm? Of course, I will keep this matter a secret from anyone. Don't worry. I'm not the type to gossip."

"Thank you, Daisy." Lana got up from the chair and invited Daisy to have lunch together. "Come on! We're going to have lunch together."
