Meeting ace

She got dressed and walked out the front door. She contemplated telling her dad goodbye but in the end just walked out. She discovered that there was a small coffee shop near bye, so she walked in to see a boy her age he had black hair with red tips and the cafe uniform gave her butterflies. She walked up to him and asked for a white mocha latte.

"Is that all for you today" he asked

"Mhm" she replied back blushing

"Can I get your number" he asked

She smiled and wrote her number on a piece of paper

"I'm ace" he said

"I-I-I'm Gracie" she said

He handed her her white mocha latte and smiled.

"Call me tonight" ace said

Gracie blushed and agreed she went out and explored more feeling happier but still she hurt inside. She saw there was a movie theater, and bowling alley.

"Cute date night places" she said under her breath she walked around when she got a call, she looked down and saw it was from her father. She picked up....

"Yes dad?" She said confused as it was only 6:00

"Get your a** home right now" he screamed into the phone, Gracie rolled her eyes and walked home.

She got home to see her dad wasn't here

"Maybe he went to find a job" she thought.

Gracie went to her room and FaceTimed ace

"hey ace!" She said with a smile on her face,

"Hey Gracie how was your day?" Ace said with a happy tone.

"Today was a good day I got to explore and saw so many cool places." Gracie replied.

"That's awesome" said ace and before Gracie could say anything ace told her

"Hey can we go get ice cream tomorrow?"

Gracies eyes lit up with joy as she excitedly shook her head yes.

"Sounds great text me your address and I will come bye at 7:00 to pick you up." Ace said

"Ok that sounds like fun" Gracie said with a happy smile.

"Oh I have to go Gracie" ace said

"Oki see you tomorrow at 7:00" Gracie said before ace hung up.

Gracie jumped up and started opening bags and boxes for the perfect date night outfit. After a hour of searching she found it, a cute sundress with a navy blue background with small white sunflowers that seemed to glow. "This is perfect" she said with excitement. She walked downstairs her father was watching tv and her mum was making dinner. In the span of 30 minutes they had eaten dinner and she was back upstairs about to take a shower. She took her shower and went straight to bed.
