chapter 9 | A Run In With Jedi

it's been a week { + 11.2 million } since Jake has had control over the planet Ater. the public relations were surprisingly High. Jake guess bringing futuristic technology to a modern world and not being overly controlling would have such relations. but Jake doesn't care if they dont like or like him as long as they dont betray him then he has no problems with them.

he remembered he could buy ships form different universes as well. like Star Trek so he opens the shop.

jake notices that the pirce of star trek ships are more then the star wars ones. with some of them being able to destroy worlds in seconds. after jake finished browsing. he sends his time looking through the holo net for information about current events at the Bridge one of his officers walks up to him saying "sir we have detected a Jedi ship in our system and they are sending a transmission to us should we shot them down or answer" jake was wondering how the jedi knew where he is and said " answer and direct it to me " jake starts saying " well hello jedi what brings you down here " surprising jake he see's Qui-Gon Jinn and a young Obi-Wan Kenobi

Qui-Gon responds " the Grandmaster noticed a large disturbance in the force would you happen to know anything about it " jake responds with a innocent voice " the Force you mean your magic and no I have know idea what could have done such a thing " but inside he was panicking ( how stupid am I to not realize the jedi would notice a group of people appearing out of nowhere ) he thought

Qui-Gon was suspicious about how this person was able to get there hands on extremely high tier Tech he doesn't think the Republic has this advanced technology but ends up saying " may I know why your out here in the middle of nowhere with a fleet of high tech star ships" jake replies with " this is my home system we made these ships to defend our territory and to be hired as Mercenaries whenever someone is in need of fire power like a war if help is needed " Jake doesn't lie as \technically/ this is his home system and he did \technically/ create the ships

Qui-Gon was a little reluctant to agree with that his reasoning is if a civilization was able to make star ships this advanced It would have been well known to the rest of the galaxy but before he can respond young Obi-Wan says " A mercenary why would anyone need a mercenary the galaxy is in peace no wars will ever start if we jedi have anything to say about it" Qui-Gon reprimands Obi-Wan by saying " Padawan that is not a nice thing to say about ones profession " even though he agrees with his Padawan. but he has a mission to complete so he asks jake " will it be possible to investigate your planet or planets for the disturbance"

jake definitely doesn't want them to investigate his planets as his half truth will be caught both of his planets are in a primitive stage and are in no way capable of building these ships so he says " I'm sorry jedi but that will not be allowed this ' disturbance ' you talk about is not a good enough reason to enter any of my planets atmosphere's if i notice anything I will contact the Temple "

Qui-Gon is now definitely thinks something is suspicious as jake doesn't want him on his planets but theres nothing he can do so he reluctantly says " I understand we will leave your system now " and ends the transmission

with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Obi-wan says to Qui-Gon " master why did we leave just because that guy told us we cant couldn't we could have snuck on the planet " Qui-Gon replieds in a tired voice " my Padawan we could have yes but we would have made a enemy out of them and to do so would be foolish as we dont have any proof of any wrongdoings " Obi-Wan reluctantly agrees with this master by saying " yes master" they then enter hyperspace back to the jedi Temple to report there findings

back with our MC

jake is walking up and down the Bridge thinking about how stupid he is to forget such a important bit of information and how his plans of staying secret are going down the drain Kushimaru see him and says " what's got you in a bad mood " jake tells him what happened and Kushimaru doesn't make things any better by laughing and saying how stupid can he be to forget about something like that

jake is talking of a new plan ( maybe if I join the Republic I can do a Palpatine and help the Republic weaken the CIS while Palpatine weakens them and I can hide a lot of my faction and keep them a secret )

A week has passed Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan made it back to the temple and reports what they learned to Yoda who then says in his mysterious way " hide they are for what we know not " Qui-Gon then says " should we tell the Senate about this " yoda replied with " secret we keep for help we might receive " yoda has no idea how impactful this choice was for the survival of the jedi in the future
