Chapter 1 - Ochaco Uraraka

(Nero POV)

I looked at the girl in front of me, who was my best friend, as I lay on the bed in my room.

My friend is a 14-year-old girl with a short build but a slim, curvy body and fair skin. Her cheeks had a perpetual pink blush, which was one of the cutest things about her. Her short hair is a beautiful shoulder-length auburn color with short bangs, and her style is cut with two long locks framing her face. Furthermore, her eyes were large and round and the same color as her hair, and her upper eyelashes were thick, being more extended and prominent on each side. Her lower lashes were less pronounced but more pronounced individually.

On her curvaceous body, she wore leggings, which emphasized her big butt. And on the upper part of her body, she wore a tight black blouse, which once again emphasized a part of her body—to be more precise, her breasts, which were no longer as small as when we were children.

This beautiful girl who is dressed in tight clothes in my room is Ochaco Uraraka.

Her name was a little strange, but I honestly can't say anything, especially since my name is Nero Fujiwara. A strange combination of a Roman name and a Japanese surname.

Although in modern times Nero is an Italian name, it was given to me about a certain Roman emperor, who may or may not have set Rome on fire.

Well, my name aside, at this moment, I was lying on the bed upside down while watching Ochaco do her exercises. Her exercises were similar to yoga.

"You know, not that I'm complaining, but why do these exercises in my room?" I really wasn't complaining; after all, this was a nice sight for my eyes.

"So, Nero-Kun, your room is very spacious, and I'm embarrassed to wear this outfit in front of other people," Ochaco said, clasping her hands together in the center of her chest, but without touching her fingertips, and then raising her arms in the air, pressing her hands together, revealing the graceful curves of her armpits. When transferring all her weight to her right foot, she bent her left knee, placing the sole of her left foot on top of her right thigh, very close to her groin. Soon after, she contracted her glutes and abdomen, balancing on one foot.

I innocently thought she couldn't emphasize her ass anymore, but I was genuinely wrong in that regard.

"Just wearing normal clothes will change that, but what is really the reason you are doing these exercises?" I said, clearly looking at her curvaceous body, that it's those damn teenage hormones of mine that are to blame.

"Fufufufu! The reason is simple: training my center of balance." She said this with a small bead of sweat running down her neck and falling into the valley of her breasts.

"Oh! That makes sense, considering your quirk."

Quirk is a widely used term in today's society, but previously it was known as a meta-ability. Over time, it was renamed Quirk. Quirk is nothing more than a superhuman ability; some say that quirks are the next stage in the evolution of the human race.

Ochaco's quirk is called [Zero Gravity]. It allows her to remove the effects of gravity from solid things by touching them with her fingertips. Her quirk causes targets to lose gravitational pull the moment Ochaco makes contact with them, effectively rendering them weightless.

At first glance, it seems like a bad skill, but honestly, it's a very good Quirk considering the possibility that [Zero Gravity] offers for my Ochaco.

"It's not! If I increase my center of gravity, it will be easier for me when I use [Zero Gravity] on myself." Her tone of voice showed a lot of pride.

I think it's better not to say that it only makes sense in theory and that it's not that useful, but Ochaco will probably be able to find a way to use it in combat.

"Now that I think about it, shouldn't you be at school, Ochaco?" The morning sun was already shining through my window, revealing that it would be around 9 am at the earliest.

"Yes, but there was an accident when a supervillain damaged the school while fighting a hero, so there will be no classes this week." Even after saying these words, she continued in her yoga pose.

Villains are a common thing in this society. Sometimes it was society and the laws themselves that created the villains; other times it was just some sons of bitches who were really crazy.

But if there are villains, there will obviously be their antagonists, who are basically the heroes.

Heroes were something so necessary nowadays that they even became a profession, but not just any profession, but one of the highest paid by the government itself. Furthermore, heroes are much more famous than actresses and actors.

Heroes were so important that there were even schools to teach the path of heroism.

And the greatest of these heroes in Japan is All Might, also known as the "Symbol of Peace." All Might is considered a pillar of Japanese society.

Furthermore, he is the number one hero in Japan, and countless young people and children consider him the greatest hero.

But for me, the hero, or rather the heroine, that I admire more than All Might is the number 2 heroine in the Japanese rankings.

Also known as the Tornado of Terror, although physically she is extremely inferior to All Might, she would not lose to him in terms of power.

Trapped in my thoughts, I suddenly hear Ochaco's voice, which takes me out of the depths of my thoughts.

"I have an excuse for not going to school, and you, Nero-kun, why aren't you at school?"

"Hmm! That's easy to answer; I just didn't want to go to school."

Go to school or look at my friend, who was dressed in a sexy outfit? Please, the answer to this question is obvious.

"Honestly, we're the same age, and we've known each other since we were 4, but I'll never fully understand you. For some things, there is no one more hardworking, and for others, you are the true meaning of lazy." She said, getting out of position and lowering her hands to the floor, lifting that ass forward while standing on one leg again.

Isn't this position very immoral!? I thought with a small smile.

"Even I don't understand myself well enough," I said, looking at my dear friend without hiding my gaze in the slightest.

I'm a bad friend!? Yes or sure?

"It's a miracle your father doesn't get mad at you."

"He doesn't even care; after all, it's that old cliché about a rich father who doesn't care about his son," I said, not really caring about that fact of my life.

After a while, you kind of get used to the abandonment.

"Nero-kun!?" Her tone of voice was sad, even if the position she was in now didn't match that tone of voice.

"No need to worry, you know; I got used to it a long time ago. Well, maybe that's a price for being privileged."

It is undeniable that I was born privileged, already having a good life since birth; after all, the Fujiwara were one of the richest and most influential families in Japan, and, in addition, I also had a good and enviable quirk.

My quirk is [Limitless], which allows me to manipulate, control, distort, and bend space, making it a powerful quirk, but on the other hand, it is an extremely difficult quirk to use. And even though I have awakened this quirk since my birth, I still have a lot of difficulty using it. One of the reasons for this difficulty is that my quirk has always put a lot of pressure on my body when I use it, and I reach or exceed my own limit, causing me exhaustion and, worst of all, a hellish migraine.

But the worst case of migraines I had was when I was 10, along with the death of my... mother.

A somewhat traumatic memory.

Still, I had countless privileges, so I hated complaining about any problems I had.

But I think the best thing my family's wealth could offer was Ochaco; probably, if it weren't for my family's wealth, we would never have met.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying Ochako is a gold digger, as we met because my parents hired her father to be our driver.

And since I was 4 years old, since I saw her, with her father, we have been friends.

Trapped in my old but very good memories, I didn't even notice that Ochako had stopped doing her exercises and was looking at me with a sad expression in her eyes.

Looking at her face, I let out a sigh.

"Honestly, I've told you a thousand times that you don't need to be sad about this," I said, seeing my dear friend's sad expression at me. "After all, in this life, there are millions of people who are in a deplorable situation, and I only have family problems." I turned my body, sitting on the bed, looking directly at the girl, who was cuter than she should have been.

"Why do you always belittle your problems?" Her expression was still sad.

"Calling it a problem is a huge exaggeration, my little badger," I said with a smile.

"I'm not a badger." Her expression of sadness was replaced by an expression of indignation as she clenched her fist and shook it up and down.

She intended to show her frustration, but her action was just the epitome of cute.

Well, she called me Nero-kun, and sometimes I called her Badger because she and the badger had something in common.

Sometimes a quirk can affect the body's appearance, and this happened to my friend. Due to her [Zero Gravity] quirk, she had small, thick pads on the tips of her fingers, similar to the toes of an animal's paws. When she touches her fingers, she activates her quirk.

So it's only fair that, as her best friend, I call her a badger, who had something similar to those pads Ochako has on her fingertips, although it's not that similar.

"It all depends on her point of view." I shrugged as her cheeks puffed up cutely.

"It would be nice if you didn't use my nickname to get out of the subject." Her arms crossed over her beautiful pair of breasts.

"In fact, the right thing to say is to leave the subject with style," I said with an amused tone.

"Okay! Okay! But tell me why you denied Yuuei's recommendation?" Her eyes focused on me, showing that she would not give up on this matter.

(A / N Instead of U.A., I will use Yuuei.)

"How do you know that?" I asked, letting out a light sigh.

"Your father told my father, and my father told me. And you didn't answer my question."

Hmm! Well, my father really thinks highly of Ochaco's father.

It's not too difficult for my father to know that I refused Yuuei's Recommendation Entrance.

Yuuei is a high school ranked first in heroism and is considered the best Hero Academy in Japan and even one of the best in the world.

Now, about the official recommendation, it was very simple, and a little redundant, but it's when you are recommended for the Yuuei entrance exam by a professional hero or someone in that circle of heroism. If you pass all the tests carried out separately from the general group, you already enter Yuuei with some advantages. Furthermore, the chance of failure was very close to zero.

"This Yuuei recommendation entrance exam seemed really boring," I told her.

Ochaco raised one of her eyebrows and placed her hand on her waist.

"Please, I've known you for 10 years. I know this is only one part of the truth; now tell the other part of the truth." She started tapping her foot as she looked at me.

"It was so much better when you were doing those attractive poses, at least to me," I said this with a smile, making her blush, but she remained determined in her position to make me speak.

"Wow! You're a very stubborn girl, but that's okay. You're right; it's only part of the reason I declined Yuuei High School's official recommendation. The other part is because I simply wanted to take the normal test like everyone else and not get into the best heroism school in Japan, just because my dad knows the right people. I'm probably being childish here, but I want to take the normal test, even if it's selfish of me." My words honestly came out of my mouth.

"OK," Ochaco said, smiling, putting her hands behind her back, and walking towards me.

"What do you mean by a simple "ok"? I expected more than that word." This time I was outraged, especially because I practically said an essay, and she responded with "ok".

"Good." She exclaimed in front of me, turning around and suddenly sitting on my lap with that voluptuous ass. "You have always been a somewhat selfish person, but at the same time selfless." She rested her head on my chest while I tried... well, you know the "trouble" I'm in, even why a pretty girl on a guy's lap can only lead to one result. Let's try not to let the dragon wake up.

"Nero-kun, you were always the type of person who hated sharing what you liked. I still remember how you always teased my friendship, even more so when you were boys. Because of you, you are my only male friend." She said, lifting her head and looking at me with her auburn eyes.

"In this case, I am truly guilty, and I do not intend to change that part of myself," I said, wrapping my hands around her waist.

"Hmm! I'm glad you know that." Ochaco exclaimed, moving her butt on my lap, which was an unfortunately or fortunately bad move for me at this point.

Friends, brothers, companions, and comrades in arms, I... failed in my noble mission; whoever was sleeping woke up.

Ochaco obviously felt something pressing against her buttocks through her leggings.

A slightly strange atmosphere spread throughout the room, but she didn't get off my lap or try to change position, and I didn't even take my hands off her slender waist.

So I did what any man would do in that situation: I pretended nothing happened and continued to feel that good feeling in my lap. Until my good friend opened her mouth with her head bowed in shame.

"Hey! Are you going to school tomorrow?" Her voice was a few decimal places lower, with visible redness on her cheeks that spread across her entire face.

"No, without any intention of going to school tomorrow." Since my grades were perfect, I honestly don't have much reason to go to an uppity school, so it didn't matter if I missed a week or two.

"Great, since I don't have class tomorrow either, do you want to go to the mall with me?"

Although going to the mall with a woman is a form of severe torture, I think I can sacrifice myself in this case.

"Of course, no problem." Well, I was already getting a reward here, so why not? It's not like something bad is going to happen at the mall tomorrow, right?
