The fat girl gasped for breath after retracting her finger. Shakingly she took a plaster out of the pocket of her pants and put it around her finger. 

He sat still across from her, eying her every move and crossing his arms. 

After a bit she felt better. "Can you come with me now? This isn't a good place to talk." She took the second 100 dollar bill and placed it on the desk, waiting.

After he finally nodded she stood up, bringing him to a taxi. The driver didn't want the dirty boy in his car but before he could voice his displeasure the girl stuffed money in his hand through the open driver window. He quickly counted and a smile bloomed on his face. 

The two boarded the car and she gave an address. They stopped in a high end area before a skyscraper. The driver thought 'So she is really rich, what is she doing with a beggar?'

She took the boy to the elevator and pressed the 14th floor. They entered the apartment and he was taken aback. Before him was a vast space, decorated simply and modern, about 100 qm. The window front reached the floor and you could see over the city, on the right side was the kitchen, in front of them the living room and left there were big stairs leading to a second floor.

 She took him to the stairs and along a corridor. Then on their right the window front continued and he stared outside, fascinated.

On the left side, there were three doors. She stopped at the third and opened the door without going in. 

"Here is your room. If you want, you can live here from now on. Clothes are in the closet, and there is a bathroom inside. The house key is in the drawer with your new ID, household registration, money, medical care card and the whole stuff." 

She looked him blankly in the eye. "You don't have to worry about anything, we are a team from now on- if you want. Take your time, and let's talk a little later, I have to rest a bit." She turned around and walked to the first door. "Feel free to take anything you want if, this is your home too." She mumbled and disappeared. He stared at her chubby back and heard the words 'we', 'team', 'home' repeat in his head.

He entered feeling confused about everything, opening the drawer she had pointed out. 

There he saw documents he never owned before, there was even a registration for a school, including a leaflet. Looking at it, it should be some prestigious school.

Then he saw a simple black wallet, looking modern and stylish. He opened it and saw cash in it. He closed it, much more composed than an hour before, when he first looked at the money in her hand. 

Then he saw a book. There was a note on it "Not this world, but similar storyline, please read it when you have time." He scrutinized the synopsis on the back.

{Mina got a System! She has to travel from world to world, helping the male and female protagonist to fall in love. Let's start the journey to happiness together... But why is the villain of each world looking at Mina with strange eyes?}

"What is this..." he whispered.

When he opened the first page, there was scribbled with a pen 'Mina = me; male protagonist = you"

He had an inkling where this would lead with all the information he gathered till now, but first he had to shower. Looking through the closet the clothes looked like good quality and in the right size. He took it and got his first hot shower since what felt like forever.
