"Superman: Guardian of Hope"

We all know how this story goes. I've often found myself looking for something like this and never found it, so I decided to create it myself. So here it is: what would happen if a man died and reincarnated in Boku no Hero as a Kryptonian? ~~~~~~~~ NO HAREM~~~~~ English is not my native language, so please be patient with me, and I would appreciate any tips you can give me. * I don't own any characters from the Boku no Hero universe or Superman; I'm writing just for fun. All credits for the characters go to their respective creators. * * My first time writing, so I'm subject to mistakes and the chapters are subject to changes, but without much impact on the story. *

"Who am I?"

It was late into the early morning at the Kent's house. Jonathan and Martha were sleeping in their room, while Clark lay in his bed, his thoughts swirling with confusion. He stared at the ceiling, sleep having eluded him. Numerous thoughts raced through his mind, but one persisted: who am I?

He had memories of a life he hadn't lived, yet he couldn't recall who he was or whom he had interacted with. One thing he did remember: his old life was pathetic. He saw people suffering without the power to help them, and his former world was spiraling into destruction and death.

He also remembered the stories he had heard and watched, and he recalled where he had seen the symbol on the ship before. It was the symbol of the House of El, a Kryptonian house, and he remembered its last survivor, Kal-El, or himself, it seemed. But he also remembered the good Kal-El had done for the world, how he always helped those in need because he had the power to do so. Now Clark had that power too. He wouldn't live like his past life; now he had the ability to make things different, and he would make them different. Living in a world of heroes, he would do his utmost to help those in need and bring hope to those who had none. He would be a hero. He would be Superman.

~~"11 years later"~~

Clark, now fully aware of the extent of his powers, began to exercise extra caution with things and people. His parents noticed a subtle change in his behavior, but they attributed it to the new truth he had discovered. Despite this change, Clark never ceased being a happy and cheerful child who always showed affection and love to his parents. He treated others with care, always demonstrating respect and a smile on his face.

As Clark grew up, his powers began to manifest. First, his super strength, accidentally breaking the door handle. Then came his super hearing, which he admitted was difficult to learn to control, especially in the city. Next were his ocular powers: X-ray vision was challenging at first, as he couldn't stop seeing people's and animals' skeletons, which was not a pleasant experience. However, he soon learned to keep it under control. He also discovered he could zoom in with his vision, seeing things miles away. One power that gave him a lot of trouble was his heat vision. When it first manifested, he accidentally burned half of the barn and caused another incident he prefers not to remember.

But the power he loved the most was flying. When this power manifested, it was one of the best days of Clark's life. Of course, initially, it resulted in many rough landings. But for Clark, flying was incredible; having the freedom to go wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted, without relying on anyone else. Unfortunately, Japan had laws against the unlicensed use of powers. So Clark couldn't fly too high or too far from his family's farm. However, soon flying became as easy as breathing for him.

Clark trained whenever he could after his daily chores on the farm. He practiced his heat vision by alternating the temperature levels he could control. His typical training involved using a pot of water; he aimed to evaporate the water without melting the metal of the pot.

At first, it was difficult and resulted in many of his mother's pots melting and months of punishment. However, this did not stop him from training.

His super strength was difficult to train; nothing was heavy for him, but he had to train diligently to avoid accidentally hurting someone. Everything now seemed as fragile as cardboard to him, so he focused on controlling his strength. His training involved holding a chicken egg without breaking it; at first, he broke many eggs, but soon he progressed to larger targets like wooden logs and concrete bricks.

The last power to manifest for Clark was his super speed. He could accelerate to incredible speeds in the blink of an eye. According to his mother, it was as if he had teleported. For Clark, the world seemed to stand still while he moved effortlessly. He knew he could go much faster than he had tested so far, but he feared causing damage to the farm or hurting people if he lost control.

In his childhood, Clark quickly realized he had a remarkable aptitude for learning. Soon, he became a "child prodigy," as his teachers called him. He learned every language he could think of, aiming to help the world by being able to communicate with everyone. However, as he noticed that his intelligence made his classmates uncomfortable, he chose to hide part of it when changing schools. Despite his efforts, this still earned him a reputation as a bit of a nerd.

"Kent, are you paying attention here?" The teacher called out.

Clark, who had been gazing out the window in his classroom, was brought back to attention by the teacher.

"Sorry, professor," said Clark, now with his attention back on the class.

"Professor, stop interrupting the class to call out that nerd, I want to go home!" shouted an irritated voice.

As Clark looked to the right, he saw in the middle of the room the source of the commotion: a blond teenager with spiked hair, an explosive temper, and his legs up on the table.

Katsuki Bakugo.

He is one of the experiences that Clark had the displeasure of meeting upon moving to this school.

"D-Don't talk to Kent like that, Kacchan," said timidly a hunched-over boy with green hair.

This is someone whom Clark formed a strong friendship with, and whom Clark admired for their determination.

Izuku Midoriya.

''Shut up you useless Deku!'' Bakugou shouted angrily, standing in his place.

"Okay, okay, no fighting. Sit down, Bakugou, and let me continue the class," the teacher said, pointing the chalk at the angry blonde.

Bakugou huffed and sat back down in his seat.

Clark looked at his green-haired friend and gave him a thumbs-up, smiling at him, which resulted in a crooked smile from his friend.

~~Thirty minutes later~~

The bell had rung, and everyone was packing up their things and getting ready to leave. Clark was doing the same until he saw a certain blond with spiked hair and his minions walking towards Izuku's table. Clark put on a serious expression and walked towards his friend's table from behind the bullies.

"Hey, you idiot Deku!" he shouted, kicking Izuku's desk. Izuku, who wasn't paying attention, startled at the shout and knocked over some pencils from his desk.

"H-Hey, Kacchan," said Izuku, shrinking back as he noticed Bakugou and his minions.

"Do you think you can talk to me like that and get away with it?!" Bakugou shouted, grabbing Izuku by the collar of his clothes while his minions laughed.

"N-no, Kacchan, but you can't talk about people like that," Izuku said, his voice trembling as he saw the anger in his 'friend'.

"Do you think a quirkless like you can tell me what I can and can't do?! Your types hould go to the forest to die, it's time to teach you a lesson'' ( Quirkless individuals are people who do not manifest any kind of power, being ordinary humans. )

Bakugou said, releasing one hand from the green-haired boy's collar and starting to emit small explosions. ( "Bakugou had the power to release explosions from his hands, due to the nitroglycerin-like sweat on his palms." )

"We have a problem here, Bakugou?" said a calm and serious voice.

Before the blond could react, his attention was drawn by the voice. As he turned, he saw a teenager standing at 1.80 meters, with black hair, blue eyes, and a well-built face. (If you want a reference, imagine someone like Henry Cavill.)

Clark Kent.

Bakugou's minions, seeing the expression on Clark's face, cleared a path for him to approach the blond, but they couldn't help giving Clark a disapproving look.

Turning his attention to Clark, the blond released Izuku, who fell to the ground with a thud.

''What do you have to do with this eh Kent?! How about you mind your own business before I hurt you! '' Bakugou shouted, now facing Clark with the palms of his hands emitting small explosions.

Knowing the blond's temper well, his minions quietly left the room, leaving only the three of them remaining there.

"When you're intimidating my friends, it is my concern," said Clark in a serious tone, stepping closer and now face-to-face with the angry blond.

"Get out of here!" shouted Bakugou, launching two explosions at Clark's chest, filling the room with smoke. Normally, this would be enough to scare off or harm an ordinary person. However, when the smoke cleared, the blond was surprised to see Clark unharmed, not having moved a muscle, with only his clothes charred.

"Is that it? Honestly, I expected more," said Clark, looking Bakugou in the eyes with an expression that infuriated him.

"Bakugou, let's go already, we want to leave!" shouted one of Bakugou's "friends" from the doorway.

Bakugou looked back with disdain at Izuku, who was still on the ground looking concerned. He then turned to Clark, also eyeing him with disdain, but his anger towards Clark was more pronounced. No one spoke to him like that. Bakugou bumped his shoulder into Clark's before heading towards the exit of the classroom.

Watching the blond leave, Clark turned to Izuku who was still on the ground. He put on a smile and extended a hand to help the green-haired boy up.

"T-thank you, Kent. You didn't have to do that. I don't want you to get in trouble with Bakugou," said Izuku, accepting his friend's help and getting up, concerned for him.

"Don't worry, Midoriya. Bakugou is the least of my worries," Clark said, smiling and patting his friend on the back lightly.

"Let's go, or your mom will worry if you're late," Clark said, guiding his friend towards the exit of the classroom.

"Y-yes, by the way, Kent, do you want to see my latest notebook? I've made some new additions." With that, Izuku began talking about his hero registry notebook, which made Clark smile as he saw his friend regaining composure. They then left the classroom together.
