The whole writing is a mess. Logic is non-existent and there's no consistency. Main character loses past life's memories but still remembers a lot of things when it's convenient for the author, while at other times he murders without blinking cause he doesn't remember. Just no.

LIKEThis is one of the better translations. The one who wrote the original review either read skiping parts or has issues with English. For me the novel was great read - got bit tired of it at the end but still would recomend to all people who like or may like the game novels.
Ftyhg_Ftyhg:might be, but at least I'm not. not a huge qidian fan, but op's review is kinda confusing tho. but since I never read the English version, idk if it's him misreading it or the book is being mistranslated.....which now makes me want to read it in English just to find out....but then I'm busy reading other stuff and finish the games I already started.so, it will go onto the bucket list of "might or might not happen".
Mc ends up in the game he is playing and the npc he takes over has lost his memories. Mc still remembers all his own memories just not the ones his new npc body had before. Also to get out of the bad siruation he is in, he either has to kill or die as experimental subject. So no all is logical if you bother to think as you read.
Or maybe I read what's written and not try to assume what should be. Get off your high horse. Thanks.
PetMyPussycat:I think you have a bad reading comprehension. Your review doesn't make any sense. Please try to understand the story first before posting a review. Or maybe you don't understand English that much that's why you're not making any sense in what you wrote.
Or maybe you're really that bad at reading and can't understand/ digest what you read. That's only that. And I'm not feeling intellectual here. I'm just stating my observation regarding your reading capacity. Thanks. Happy Holidays!

But from the review, we can conclude that he doesn't understand that Han Xiao(MC) retains his previous life game related significant memories but not Xiao Han(NPC)'s before death. And the way he worded his review is basically asking for bashing.
Sanimah:Wow, a lot of bash from water army. Did this a new strategy from qidian ?
Old review but I felt the need to comment on this. So why did boys one tell him about that instead of full in bashing him? They were just looking for a fight, that much is obvious. I'm not saying that these guys were completely in the wrong as clearly so did the original poster. He clearly misunderstood some part of the story or simply just skipped those vital parts.
