This story has become dissatisfying for a while now, it’s sad to see how an amazing nation building story has become one with an MC who seems almost all knowing and everyone obediently following his every word. Given there are characters that develop new ideas and some of Rolands idea come from the dream world it seems like an excuse to justify his ideas and wide amount of knowledge. To put it simply I dislike the dream world (this is my opinion please respect it). A lot of the characters have become static and MCs power is too overbearing. Although I understand the reduction in the amount of updates (2 to 1 a day) the quality of grammar has fallen a lot and shows the characters in a robotic artificial way. Roland can’t be all knowing, he should have others beneath him like Van that present innovations and ideas that he may ignore and thus develop. Also focus on some of the other cities, I enjoyed seeing the rise of new cities rather than Neverwinter. It’s sad to see how much this story has declined, this may be due to Webnovel (how should I really know but this is my opinion) or the demons (probably not) but I can only hope that it improves.

Ahh, yeah it’s pretty good there, Id say it gradually slips up around chapter 800-900, even 1000 is ok... but since then it hasn’t been so interesting and developments haven’t felt as profound

It’s still a good story don’t get me wrong but chapters feel shorter and the plot is kinda weird (I don’t like the idea of the world and giving Roland power there, his lack of power is what connected me to him to begin with) and the inability to have a relation with Nightingale (who is hardly mentioned) kinda sucks as there’s so many characters now that it’s kinda cluttered. Also there’s no real struggle with developments now so it seems kinda OP. sure it’s cool to see a clash between technology and magic but the plot underneath seems somewhat dull now. Again this simply may be my preference. I’d suggest reading up till 900 to see if you still like it, it’s a good story but I was hoping that the author could cap off his knowledge. He’s an engineer not a noble prize scientist, sure the industrial components is fine but going into some fields that he doesn’t know (which he does acknowledge in some cases) should instead be left to other characters to show progression within them. It’d nice to see stuff like that and to see the industrial power not just in Neverwinter but flowing throughout his Kingdom. Then again it’s my opinion.
