I'm sorry is the prologue going to be 35 chapters??? If so wow thats a shocking ask from the reader. (PS i remember ur Percy Jackson novel from a long time ago was pretty good.) This isn't a actual book where that scenario makes sense. We don't have the complete novel so it's just a nonsensical ask till that happens

the issue is u don't see why people keep Pre isekai stuff short. (good or badly done) it's because it's mostly just an excuse to get knowledge someone in that setting shouldn't have wether it's trivial or vital. And the people that do that well don't need 35 chapters to 'establish' (key word) a mc before the plot of the story that drew people in even starts.

The 35 chapters establish a LOT of information without having to rely too much on info dumps. Otherwise, due to the nature of them in their previous world and the nature of the plot I have planned, there would be a LOT of text describing and dumping. In the way I have it set up, showcasing the events leading up to their Isekai is beneficial in establishing everything. ESPECIALLY since it's a long-running novel. Context matters, and so do the establishing of my key players (Jak Yanda, Mako Kunzite, and Meru). I don't have to set up the world of Black Clover since it already exists but since I'll be bringing over aspects of the MCs original world to add some plot and extra oomph, it's needed. Everything I do is for a reason.

No. I got you. And I understand. I just like to flesh things out when I make stories. That's how I've always done things.

Maybe. I'd hardly call it a mess. I've read way worse on this app. My story has plot, direction, decent writing and grammar, and decent world building. I'm not saying it's the second coming of christ, but I am saying that it's worth reading. Especially considering the garbage novels that are usually on Webnovel.
