Before starting out. Is there Yuri? If no, is by any chance the mc is a beta? I hope not, but if he's one, then i hope he becomes better faster because I have a good feeling about this novel!

No yuri..If by beta you mean that the main character is under the thumb, then I would say no rather than yes. He gets cooler and cooler with every chapter.
