Hey there, author here! I thought I should explain what you can expect from this story, after all, I can guarantee that it is probably not a lot of people's cup of tea. Now, believe me, I'm not saying this story is some misunderstood masterpiece, but its better points may be a turnoff for others and I can already foresee many comments about pacing, and all. Let me clarify a few things.. I believe that a solid foundation, and letting things simmer, at least early on in the story, makes for better pay off. Thus, expect the story to be rather slow. Like really slow. It takes its time to introduce the two worlds that the story constantly contrasts through the eyes of the MC. Plot points will be moving, but as I mentioned below the synopsis, this story has a lot of slow, slice of life moments. That said, I don't believe that the slow moments are boring to read. The writing style of the story is littered with tidbits of spice (like comedy) that make information and plot more enjoyable to read. There won't be a lot of action in the first stages, but I do believe mystery, tension and drama are in abundance. The characters are pretty fleshed out. Well, I tried to flesh them up (out). The MC is pretty standard, but I'm sure you will find him to be his own person among millions of other MCs from other stories. The side cast is also rather distinct and I think they will be likeable. Another matter I should address is that there will be romance in the story, but far into the future. I personally can't bring myself to start having 14 year olds have dramatic scenes of such, but as the story progresses, it will become clear who is into who and who will end up with who. If none of the above bothers you, then all I can do is pray that you will sample and like my work. If it does... then I'm glad I didn't waste your time. Thanks in advance!
