reed up to chapter 76 and I gotta say the dxd arc really killed the story for me all the character development from the first 2 worlds go down the drain and like Yhwach got factory reset to himself during the beginning of the blood war arc only made it that far because i hoped he'd get back

Yeah, that's one of the problems I faced. although I plan to fix all the mistakes I made during the rewrite. there is something I'd like to ask what did you mean by "I'd hoped he'd get back"

yeah so what i meant by go back i was hoping that the self reflection that happens when he goes to unlock a new power would make him realize he's slipping back into his old self but that didn't happen at least as far as I reed, i really enjoyed the emotional growth that Yhwach had gone through and to have that washed away disappointed me besides that story was great thanks for all your hard work

Let me explain a few things to you so you can understand better The way I planned Yhwach's growth a while ago isn't what I'm planning right now some ideas I had were scrapped since they wouldn't align with what I'm currently writing the slipping back into his old self will happen but not in the way you'll usually expect it since there isn't any moment that will fully give him the feeling that he's becoming like his past self. and the washed-away part as you said earlier let me explain, At the start of the story you should have realized how this was a decision-based story since it had Telltale's The Walking Dead and if you played the game you are probably guessing where I'm going where this there were choices that lead to different decisions and you ( and the readers ) have the choice to decide where the story's direction will go I'll cut straight to the chase once the story reached at the end of the Akame ga kill arc the votes were DxD. now there are a few things I'd like to point out I already knew I'd be doing a DxD arc at some point I already had things planned out, I didn't plan to do the Dxd arc this early since it'll leave a lot of plot holes like the things you pointed out the wash away bit and the factory delete thing. original it was supposed to be at a later stage to fit more in the story so it progresses smoothly with the other arcs but that didn't quite work did it that's one of the reasons I explained why I'm doing a rewrite after I'm finished with the book I'll be doing a lot of changing so everything fits together. although I'm sad that an interested reader like you will drop the book just because of one arc.

you're a great author and I'm looking forward to the more cohesive rewrite, the insight of what you have/had planned for the story proves that this story is/ will be a masterpiece please keep up the amazing work
