This had potential, but the author fxxked up the plot after 200 chaptersPlus, the nationalism is just too blinding to read

LIKEit is still good enough to read, but the author made it that China is the only country standing in the novel
The_AM:More detail plz. Is it light enough just to skim through or is it so blatant that it takes you out of the immersion? This is one of the only novels I have, need to know!!! Lol
Around 215ish (in the raws), the other countries are introduced and yeah, it’s not great. I’m hoping that’s it’s not a nationalism thing and it’s just everyone vs mc because he hates making friends but I’m not hopeful. It’s like he writes other nationalities completely different than he does for Chinese citizens.

The nationalism is barely a thing at all. Other countries are mentioned in like two paragraphs of one chapter and only how one failed to complete their main task is talked about. As compared to what you’d expect from so many other novels that are so blatant about the subject, this novel is essentially a fourth grader liking his home town the most cause he was born there. The fact that this sets people off enough to write a review about it is simply mind boggling..
