While the initial two hundred chapters of the story showcased promising world-building and an intriguing power system, the narrative took a turn that left me unsatisfied. The protagonist's moral compass became a dominant focus, overshadowing the rich potential of the world. The repetitive cycle of the protagonist engaging in morally ambiguous actions, attempting to justify them, and then spiraling into a self-loathing phase has become tiresome. Initially motivated by a simple goal of improving his life, the protagonist transforms into an unsympathetic character who believes he alone embodies righteousness. This leads to a destructive loop of ruining others' lives and returning to a self-loathing state. Regrettably, this pattern has recurred multiple times, making the story feel stagnant. As a reader, I found it frustrating to witness the protagonist's constant internal struggles without meaningful progression. Due to these concerns, I've decided to discontinue reading and doubt I'll return to the story. While the story's world-building and power system show promise, the focus on the protagonist's moral dilemmas has become overwhelming, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the narrative. I hope future developments bring more diversity to the plot and character arcs.
