Well this is it for me guys. 90+ chapters with no supernatural elements. I really wanted to like this, but it took like 20 or so chapters for the author to forget this version of hachiman had a system. It took 75 chapters for me to almost give up. And this is me officially throwing in the towel. Thanks, its well written (mostly) but not my kind of novel Writing quality: 5 Stability of updates: 5 Story development: 3* Character design: 2** World background: 2*** *the story went in a boring direction. If you are going to merge in system elements at least have the decency to world hop or merge supernatural type stories. The only saving grace is hachiman publishing whats basically a better version of a story that shall remain unnamed. ** although hachiman is fleshed out as a character, most others are not. *** author forgot about the system. Author adds saeko busujima but she barely acts like her. Some soma(food wars) elements. Including the gods tongue and academy. After 2 chapters this is barely mentioned at all.

actually I think the greatest mistake of the author is how he used hachiman as character. because what makes hachiman special is that he is not special but lives a special way. the author literally throw this away and made hachiman special and at the same time wanted to turn him into a harem protagonist type main character. hachiman is not harem material so there is a discrepancy which the author would just pass as character development. but what's good about hachiman character is he is already a finished product. I didn't really like what happened on the last season cause he just change so much. it is the same with what the author is trying to achieve. make no mistake I think the novel was well made it would make a good slice of life but then why go here in web novel for those? he should have kept to the character and then wrote how would hachiman react to suddenly having a system. maybe he would have made cynical comeback at his current situation or complain how those lucky people are not doing the right thing when they receive cheats. would he hide or show of. the battle in his head as he decide what to do when he suddenly gets a protagonist template. so much potential . well good work anyway author. sorry for rambling
I would like to disagree, supernatural is not necessary if the author can write a good slice of life novel. But I do agree that it getting boring, simply because Author like to mention the mc status in society, when what he did is very little, but it got over exaggerate over the top, and it lose all meaning to school romance when it is too over use. that why it become boring. But the daily interaction with the girl is quite entertaining, like a slice of life type of story. It maybe due to expectation that the author has fail you, since most system story tend to go that route, but Not all system story had to be supernatural, a daily life system is also quite fun to read if done right.
