Thanks for the honest review <3 Actually, I agree with the pacing issue. I know the pacing might seem a bit slow, but I believe the payoff would be worth it in the end! Now, I don't think I made the MC seem too bland, and I find it really unfortunate that you think so. Plus, the system thing isn't a "system" kind of system. It is the default RPG system from the game, and the forcefulness goes away with a big reveal at the end of the 1st mini-arc (Chapters 14-15). I really hope you give it one more chance to impress you.
