Liked it till about chapter 20, and then the author decides to do some weird stuff. Give it a try though, it's petty interesting. The author does a great job of further building on the One Piece world.

I don't think those are really comparable scenarios bc in this, the women is doing it strictly for revenge. In dressrosa, she stayed because she was still the princess of the kingdom and didn't want to abandon her ppl alongside wanting revenge. Also, Doffy is well written, and his villainy is understandable due to his past experiences: from my knowledge, the mc I this is just a bad dude just to be a bad dude with no catalyst for it.
SuSunnyGM:Sounds like the same plot as Dresrossa where MF Doffy keep princess as subordinate, that MF Doffy is just psycho and princess is just too weak to do anything. I haven't read yet but I have no problem if the setting is like this.

Not trying to be mean, but did actually read the story? Because to me it sounds like you missed the entire reason why she decided to stay with Mc despite what he did.

For revenge, but that doesn't change what happened. Everything I said is the exact course of events that happen. I still think it's very goofy, silly, and in poor taste

I don’t see how staying by the side of the person that killed your family so that you could learn every possible thing about them would be goofy. Haven’t you heard the saying, keep your allies close and your enemies closer.

If you can't tell that it's a bad plot device. I don't know what to tell you. I think keeping your enemies close is stupid, period. Something uneeded to achieve revenge. I would even go as far as to say that it inhibits your revenge

Genuinely u the only person I can ask rn as u are awake it’s a personal question about what I should do in the situation I’m in and it may be hard to answer or you don’t need to answer at all it’s tell me no if you don’t want the responsibility to answer this (my friends/family is all asleep u the only person I know awake rn no matter how much of a stranger you are it’s better than no one)
