although i dont know much about pokemon and could definitely be wrong, but i think it makes no sense to make pokemon, when you could just focus on becoming stronger yourself. Most dudes in pokemon are normal humans, to my knowledge, and thats why they catch pokemon to battle with. If they could cast spells and become powerful that way, catching pokemon seems redundant in a way.

have you seen ash tank every Pokemon attack like it was nothing , there are aura users and psychics in Pokemon world and catching Pokemon is same as taming beasts

Ill stand corrected on the part about there being people with powers in pokemon, but i still stand by the fsct that beast taming is useless if you can just become as strong as the beast yourself. I dont like any normal type of beast taming in stories tho, so this can explain my prejudice
