Hmm, the Rating seems much lower than what I thought it would've, so I am giving it 5 stars, not that I wouldn't have given the same otherwise.Tbh I wanted to write much more, like so much more but even after so much editing, my review still isn't showing, so I'll post in Author's note, now here's a short version, It revolves around the fact that the girls in he*tai are so timid and cowardly that they would give in to the person who threatens them, to save their loved ones.Take Akane Nanao, for example. Despite having conclusive evidence against her blackmailer, she is still afraid of him and never considers reporting him to the authorities due to the fear that her sweetheart would also face punishment for breaking club rules.That's the whole context of the fanfic!The world is cruel, and no one is going to save you, except for yourself!So, after this story (Akane Nanao's), he is just an assist provider who occasionally scores a few goals, and the heroines are the main strikers.It's about them standing up for themselves and facing their fears, with Mu Xiaoxiao supporting them from behind.He will save them, protect them, squeeze some points from those yellow hairs by breaking their defense, and then the heroines will cripple them.Before he kills them all!

Why? Because this is just an English translation of a Chinese Fanfic written by a Chinese author, so if I really change the name it would look like I am just plagiarising and using this as my work, even if I gave the credit in the Synopsis, That's why, I kept the name so that everyone who reads it can know just from the name of the protagonist that it is a translation, this is also the reason why I didn't try to remove those metaphors and added a few of mine instead.. Words, like Goldfinger, Green Hat, etc.. were not in the original fanfiction, but I used them here just coz I wanted to make the readers feel that it is Chinese fanfiction translated into English, But because many were complaining about the name, so I posted a question about whether to change the name or not, and most of the readers commented to keep the same name, so I kept it as it is..

if changing name is plagiarising then the author of this fic should be plagiarising the original contents since he changed the names of characters to chinese ones. so I don't see a reason for you to keep the name especially if it will undergrade the translation. I really can't find any enjoyment in a fanfic about anime/manga/comics/... if MC name is not fit or the world, it's why I don't read most of the translations of chinese fanfics cuz many times they change characters names to fit their own MC, so why can't you change MC name to fit the theme which is japanese. I see it as a way of racism from those chinese authors, instead of giving MC a name that fit the world they write about, they prefer to butcher the characters and make everything like their cultivation novels, I mean they always use the same terms like "have eyes but can't recognize/see Mt. Tai" or "Courting Death..." imagine I tried once reading a marvel fic writen by chinese, and I see Thanos yell "courting death", it's ironic but it make it hard for us to connect it to marvel since it's wtitten in the same way as a xianxia novel.so I will return your question, why not change the name to japanese so it can fit the story?

You know, that is the main difference between Fanfic and a Translation, What they do is write the names of Japanese anime characters in Chinese, But that is what Fanfiction is, that is their own story so, they can write whatever they want, but this is not my own, I am just translating it, and because I am adding a lot of scenes by myself which are not in the original, I think I have to at least keep his name as it is so I can say that I have given proper credit.. But that is just what I feel, and I have already written around 45+ chapters, so I can't really do anything now, though I might translate another one with the same genre using a Japanese name in the near future..

since you add your own touch to the story it can't be called just a translation anymore, in my opinion it's more of a fanfiction about a fanfiction even with the slightest changes, plus I can argue even if the story is his, it's still based on another's work and not fully his. if we go deep into copyrights, then the guy is plagiarising multiple contents himself without getting the green light from the authors of those contents, it's just that people are generally more accept of fanfictions, you know years ago fanfics were considered illegal without getting the right from the owner of the work you are trying to base you fanfic about? but I do understand and I do not demand you to change it, since that would be too much work, I just want to prove my point that even if the fic is HIS, the content it's still based on another copyrighted work which is not his, and him changing characters names is plagiarising in itself, so if he can do it, then translators can, and I support them to do it. and I will look forward to when you translate another one, or you can simply publish the same story as a different version with name changed, see if ppl actually like MC with chinse name, or with a name that fit the world it's based on? just a suggestion, I know it's only my opinion about the name, but I think that way will determine if readers actually like character name changed to fit the story, or name staying the same, with the results you will know the next translated story should be with original name or different one.

Nope, I mean, what's the point of saving them after they have lost everything, and degenerated to just being toys. He would save them before their plot. .Like when they're blackmailed, Drugged or Kidnapped.. .If that's what you wanted to ask?
