I will attempt to evaluate what I thought of the first 100 chapters of this novel, hoping it helps both the author and potential new readers. First, this novel is undoubtedly a solid 4, and don't take offense at this rating. Webnovel reviews are so inflated, with people using 1 or 5 stars to rate everything, that many might think a 4 is bad. In reality, it's an excellent rating. The work has several qualities; the writing is certainly good. The author can construct the settings well, making the reading very smooth. However, the author's weak point in writing is the combat scenes. When they're not extremely short, they are incredibly confusing, with the exception of chapter 105 (a chapter I personally didn't like, but was well-written and likely excited many people).Initially, the work managed to balance "showing instead of telling" with occasional expositional dialogues. These dialogues were interesting and made sense because they were tied to expanding the background story of the village. However, mainly after the end of the first volume, most of the expositional dialogues mainly served to explain concepts such as "open heart," "mana," etc. At times, we had 3 or 4 consecutive chapters full of extremely long and tiring expositional dialogues. I don't think they were necessary, as most of these new concepts introduced were easy to understand and could have been addressed in a more organic and enjoyable way.Honestly, even though the work was tiresome at times, it was worth reading, and I will continue reading it. The characters are charismatic and well-written. The protagonist is quite likable and has distinct characteristics and a well-defined personality, unlike most protagonists in other novels who are shallower than a spoon. But the main reason motivating me to keep reading is the potential this work has. The author is always open to feedback, which is also a great sign. There were several little things that bothered me during my reading so far, but honestly, most of these I can consider just personal preferences. I can easily see a good number of readers enjoying these things I didn't like.Lastly, the sentence that sums up this work in my opinion is this: "very entertaining, except for all the moments when the author treated me like a four-year-old and explained the obvious.
