Edgelord = survivor. Flaunting your power is dumb af. I don't want to completely hide in the shadow, but it is fine to pretend like a common man. Acting like a chinese young master is akin to trying to find someone to face-slap yourself. Or you want to power-trip that much?

It's not about the idea it's the execution that's bad, if the author had simply said that the heroine had some suspicion or was able find out about the truth her self it would not make much difference but, he just went up to her told her that he is a reincarnator. I don't think that the idea should be turn off but the execution was

Or it’s just so badly executed that it’s revolting? I don’t personally mind if mc tells people he’s a reincarnator. But, when it’s poorly written, you notice.
