The story takes a disappointing turn, especially in terms of the protagonist's decision-making. Despite being aware of the potential conflicts with the goddess and knowing that he could achieve god-like powers by extensively grinding in dungeons, he repeatedly misses out on these opportunities. This includes the chance to become the Shadow Monarch in the 'Solo Levelling' world. His failure to seize these moments for gaining power is a significant let-down. While the romance subplot is initially enjoyable, the story's excessive focus on romance detracts from the development of adventure and character, making it increasingly monotonous.
