I'm currently at Chapter 578 from the raws, not completed yet, and this is my opinion of the novel. It's nice, the plot is entertaining, and the disciples thing are also noteworthy. The discipleship plot is an interesting aspect of the novel. You can find a character you like from the lineup of disciples. It has a domineering one, an honest one, a cautious one, an empress, a mischievous type, etc. They're like Pokémon, you can pick anything you like. The moment the system popped out for a new disciple is always my favorite scene so far. Speaking of the system, it's quite lowkey most of the time and doesn't have that much presence. The uses of it weren't introduced fully, so I hope it'll be gradually revealed as we neared the end. For the protagonist, he's definitely an OP character and too cautious. Fortunately, because of the troubles his disciples are giving him, he's starting to understand his strength, which is a good sign. Overall, this is a good novel to read.

Too cautious, he has a plan a/b/c every time, but that does pay off. He's actually OP already at the start, it reveals his strength little by little and becoming more OP.
heck:i guess its a rip on the fad of cautious yet steady mc that becomes op overtime and beats enemies because they always underestimate the mc but its heaven's library style with teaching
So when does he actually start realizing his power, hes always like im still trying to figure out my own power like he isnt the strongest person. Always downplaying himself like it isnt anything inpressive

I didn't really count which chapter it is, but it probably started with his second discipline, the empress one. She knew that his master was stronger than he thought, so she's mostly the one pushing/leading the other disciples to cause trouble as they know their master will back them up.

The one who ordered for the 1st disciple to be killed is actually not the ex-fiancee, it's the ex-fiancee's new fiance/partner. Ex-fiancee actually tried to save 1st disciple, but to no avail. Ex-fiance do love 1st disciple.

Nah. He's God from chapter one, it's never even a contest. He just has a paranoid personality that could get annoying if it's coupled with extreme stupidity or overly dense protagnoist.

Imagine reading about a strong a** dude making 100 back up plans to fight an ant. This type of genre gets old too fast. And it's super boring to read.

Nope, he's not the strongest at day 1. There's actually people at the same level as him or stronger as he broadened his perspective, but he gradually went past their level.
