Exactly, fanfic is usually much lower quality than the original, why am I going to consume something inferior if I can read original content that has the same premise (kind and compassionate characters) and is much superior in technical terms?

I know this is late, but an overwhelming amount of fanfics have villainous MC’s, edgy dark characters seem to be commonplace here, I wouldn’t consider it anything different at this point (at least in comparison to most fanfics I’ve seen)

I highly doubt it ,most evil protagonists on this app are soulless , they have the most dry motivations , dry personalities ever and they are just cringe . u find yourself routing against them
