It's sad seeing a power as versatile as cloning get reduced to nothing more than a glorified cultivation aid. Aside from that disappointment, the story is mediocre.

wow 1 for that reccomend and I have to agree probably most well executed 'clone' narrative I have had the pleasure to read, though it's low power modern day setting limited power creep so that helped nip a common problem or two in the bud.One life. One kill.
