MC is a miserable nonentity. He's a pathetic trash! How can you be so pathetic? Start vomiting over the death of a raccoon... a man over thirty years old... he's a worm... otherwise you can't call such a miserable creature. And the beginning was promising... but the moment of vomiting ruined all hopes for the MC :(

U should have kept reading it's actually pretty good and u have probably never seen a dead thing in real life but it's disgusting especially because he uses fire so he would be smelling burnt flesh and hair. Oh and not just the burning but he is a malnourished kid and he just did strenuous activities and his sacred gear also uses his stamina to be used and if you are in a dangerous situation and are afraid a lot of people actually puke once it is over. Same reason why people also pee when they are afraid, it is your bodies response when afraid.
in general, I saw, found several corpses of dogs or cats hit by a car ... and I never saw or heard anyone vomit! disgusting? yes it stinks? Yes, but not enough to puke!

it should be, most people should try to be in front of something dead and rotting to try and make sure it doesn't overwhelm them. in my culture when someone dies (body intact) we keep the body in a nice open room for three days to say our goodbyes to them, after seeing the body of your friend, almost nothing can make me puke (besides infanticide because screw that)
