The quality of the writing is grammatically good, however the way the sentences are structured is confusing, throughout the novel the author corrects this problem but constantly confuses the names of the characters. Good narration, without much confusion, plot well done but simple, but manages to surprise you. Good characters, the protagonist too, he is quite complex although it doesn't seem like it at first, he is basically a hostage of circumstances and most of the things he has done is because he is forced by his curse, around chapters 300 he has a good control over himself and in general talks what else he is pretty harmless (with innocents) but only close to chapter 300, because before that he has no control over himself, the world building is not complete yet either. Three-dimensional characters and very alive by the way, although sometimes they don't have much screen time and Irena is my favorite heroine. By the way, why an elf on the cover? So far no elves have appeared lol
