Here we see the author beginning to dig the hole for his MC to crawl out of! We all know that this "hole" that the author is digging is just a metaphor for the obstacles that the MC must go through. Okay, author, that is deep enough! Why, why are you continuing to dig... That is good author, it doesn't need to be any deeper... Why are you going quicker? Oh jese, he is going to hit the core at this rate! Oh thank God he stopped, as we can see, the hole, although VERY DEEP, will provide the MC room for character growth and- SPIKES!!!! YOU'RE ADDING SPIKES TO THE WALLS, OH COME ON JUST DROP THE MC INTO A VOLCANO AT THIS POINT!!! Okay, okay, ratty, calm down. It can't be that bad, it sure will be satisfying when he eventually climbs out of the hole, just be patient! He should be done with the spikes by now... Is that an Interplanetary satellite armed with a laser cannon? How did you even make that in the few seconds I was looking away!?!!?
