Egoist isn’t exactly a popular tag and blue lock is an ongoing fairly popular anime. Thus, my reasoning of a possible reference. And yes, I do know its a fking word

wouldn't know I don't do sports anime for the most part they are boring to me and chill I was simply pointing out that it's a common word and likely not a reference to anything thou I agree it's not really a genre tag that gets used often in fact I kinda wonder why it's a tag at all compared to some other words that'd probably get used more

ah yea I've been there so I can relate playing catch ups a headache that said I still think it being a reference is a bit of a stretch even if the word is commonly used in that anime using the genre tags to reference something indirectly like that seems unlikely

i don't particularly dislike them i just don't like watching sports in general even regular sports i prefer actually playing them watching is just boring to me except mma or ufc i guess watching that occasionally is ok thou i still find it more fun to do myself
