The main character is one of the most stupidest that I have come to witness. [His cheat is Immortality and infinite regeneration.] It would make sense that after he picked the martial technique, he should've just gone to that cave in the mountains and practised for years until he becomes a martial artist. But no, the MC is so stupid that he goes out of the mountain every 2 months. And every single time he goes out of his way to get himself in trouble. The author is so idiotic that he simply forgot that he gave MC the Immortality cheat. This novel had potential. It really did. But the dumb decisions by the MC ruined it for me.

if you 'was promised' then expect to get cheated and lied to. Do also take into account as other readers mentioned, the marital arts tier is low. Your imagination of immortality is trying to build basic maths into algebra and trigonometry, while moving towards quantum physics and string theory in the span of infinity lifetimes. Good luck wasting your time with that.

Half the people here stupid. He still has emotions and sanity despite his immortality. If he doesn't interact with people semi-regularly until the latter parts of his cultivation, then a horrid mixture of insanity and loneliness would eat away at him, leaving him an immortal husk, hardly better than the corpses.
