Gary stu MC. Gets everything handed to him on a silver platter. Growth is too fast. Author constantly contradicts himself and the MC consistently just makes the most nonsensical decisions. Author frequently has to nerf the character .

I agree but I think that's the fun of it. I like that the buff duration is a consistent central power and the author can focus more on creative ways of building the world and introducing broken buffs. I feel the book does well with the world and the Npcs are likeable + the MC is not very dumb.
