Don’t feel bad, you are right. I don’t understand why the other guy seems to to not understand what you are saying. It most likely because of what happens in the story that’s got him upset. But objectively a review is not created and used for personal opinions. That would simply make it an opinion instead of a review. When writing a review on WN it literally gives you key outlines to rate based on what you have read. For instance, writting quality, updating stability, story development, etc. Either the other guy simply don’t know what a review is, or is simply being ignorant because he is upset of the content presented in this story. I should also mention that I have not read this fanfic nor plan to.

What are you doing is an unfair evaluation of the author's work based on your personal opinions. While you are entitled to your own opinion, being fair and critical is key to writing an actual review. You can indeed rate it low if it's a poorly constructed book/story/piece of fiction. You came here to read the fanfic based on Cyberpunk 2077, which is infamous for it's dark themes. Yet, you complain about it. It's like getting an Intel CPU when your motherboard has an AM4 socket. What did you think cyberpunk was about? It is fair to not be comfortable with the authors work, theme etc. I am not comfortable with themes presented in CP 2077, Berserk, Clannad. As, I don't like dark themes but that doesn't mean I am give it a low rating because I wasn't the intended audience. It's like criticizing an adult movie being not suitable for kids.

Well, the point of the review IS to write YOUR OWN thoughts about the story, REGARDLESS of what the author or any other party dictates. That’s the whole point of a ‘review’ especially on fanfiction. I wasn’t against ‘dark’ themes just that the character didn’t do anything about it. So I expressed my own thoughts. If people saw it and decided not to read it because of it then that’s THEIR OWN decision. It’s not like the review itself was unique. Since that chapter released the section has been flooded with people deciding to review the story with THEIR OWN thoughts. It isn’t ’unfair’ unless someone decides to review the story without reading it lol. That’s the whole point about the ‘review section’ to express one’s own opinion about the story. It’s a pretty basic concept.
