It's a shame really, the novel lift my hope up, only to let it crash down. The first few chapters introduce us to a MC who receive this mage power without any ideas on how to use it effective. I was hoping that MC would travel the martial world to get inspiration and to better his meditation. But no, chapter 20, boom! You now have body-temper technique as well as best meditation techniques for free! I ponder. What the point of those 20 chapters if you're just give him best meditation technique and body-temper then!? This is like original author writing a decent novel, but drop quality for lazy writing! Was that for phishing new readers? Anyway, I'm disappointed!

Additionally, the title is misleading, he didn't create the mage system. He inherited the system from "arcane world will" and numerous knowledge of millions year-old mages. No parts of the system did he contribute in its creation, he merely inherited it. This told me 2 things. One, the author intended to go with this part but drop it. Two, good title for readbait.
