This is the worst type of wish fulfillment in that it assumes you are dumb. The MC gets a treasure finding app. When he finds treasure, he gets rewarded with a property - so the app can affect the banking and municipal property management? And the next thing the app finds is . . . a chance to rescue a famous singer. which is not a treasure. I enjoy wish fulfillment as much as the next person, but this is just mindless stupidity. It's too boring.

I kind of agree but I think when the author said treasures it included opportunities that lead to financial gain

I see where you are going, but even that definition is too broad. It would have to be "that do lead to financial rewards". But even with your broader definition, preventing someone from being killed does not fit.

I mean your not wrong but aren’t beautiful women considered treasures in their culture. Even then though I agree it doesn’t fully make sense. I just try to treat this novel as a fun read and don’t put much thought into it

They may be considered treasures, but preventing her from dying does not get him the girl. Don't get me wrong, if yhe author wants the golden finger to work like that, fine, it's up to them. But a synopsis sets up expectations. It's only the 2nd hunt and the author has already broken from the synopsis. Either way, it's not my cup of tea. Everything is too easy after the first find. He actually had to work and think a bit for that and the reward should have been the cash he found. To me, that should have been his easy intro, even though he now has to figure out how to deal with the bulky cash. I don't like the magic "suddenly you have a house" type of reward that interferes with reality because it makes the system too powerful. What's the point?
