Things improve from Chapter 8 and start to get much better but prior to that? Reading the story from Chapter 1 on is a chore. If you experience that, then I'd just skip ahead. There is some broken English probably from translation issues and a lot of purple prose where things get really abstract BUT I noticed major improvements in later chapters. Sometimes the opening chapters are the hardest to get right so kudos for the author for trying.

Thanks for the review. If you have time, I could use your help: Are we clear its up to the 8th chapter that my text is a pain in the ass to read? After the 8th chapter, you said things get much better, so I can understand I don't have to go out of my way the rest right? Also, I always thought the prologue was pretty well written. Do you include it (first 3 chapters) in your analysis of the first chapters? As I understand it, the longwindedness of the first chapters is the main issue, right? Thank you very much!
