While I want to give it five stars it felt like that awkward tension NTR gives you when Chiron did it with Drake. I dropped it there not going to lie I feel like it's probably a one time thing but that scene kind of ruined the novel for me.

LIKEYeah but you were setting up Drake as a love interest in the first few chapters and she basically promises herself to mc if he can grow strong enough and like a week later she does it with Chiron. It's not explicitly NTR but it feels like it.
Einlion:There is no NTR though.

She's the cover of the novel so I thought she would be FMC, felt uncomfortable reading the chap but apparently that's just how she is (I know nothing about fate).

I have never set Drake up as the love interest. In fact, I went out of my way to explain that she's a hedonistic libertine that would never enter a committed relationship. What are you smoking?

She is one of the main characters. You do realize it's possible to have heroines in a novel that aren't slaves to the male lead, right?

I haven't read it but I agree to the guy. She promises to be his if he gets strong enough, that's setting them up tho right?

But I would like one that wouldn't go around sleeping with men like that and, according to the guy, shoves it in his face.

Wheeler4784:Not to mention the fact that afterwards she blatantly and purposely shoves it in the MC's face.
ZA_WARUDO_:Thank you for helping me dodge a bullet though just this tiny mention of Ntr irks me a bit.
Double standards have no place in a world of pirates. Drake is a libertine who doesn't believe in the concept of things like marriage or committed relationships. She believes people should be free, so if she finds a guy she likes, she takes 'them' home, not the other way around. It is never implied that she would 'become' someone the MC can simply possess. That isn't how the real world works, man.

It genuinely doesn't matter. People can have more than a single relationship throughout their life. If you believe virgin women are the only valid women, there's something wrong with your head.
Thehighesthol1:Ne ne Will he be related to the drake in the future?
there is nothing wrong with our heads but bro, in NTR right in front of the face who is willing? you want in the real world like that?

If you think this is a genuine point, you need a mental health check. The fact that it's 'fiction' gives it even more freedom than reality. What kind of point are you trying to make? Did you even think before you typed out your response?
ZA_WARUDO_:Well, is this the real world? Didn't think so.
Just a suggestion, I think normal men will try to stay away from their partners if there is evidence of infidelity. Unless there's a strange fetish

Yes, I know. I'm not arguing against that. In fact, I've pointed out SEVERAL TIMES that the MC and Drake aren't in a relationship. If you see your ex or a random woman at a bar and she goes home with another man, did you get c*cked? No, you didn't. You need to be in an active, committed relationship for cheating to occur.
