Review Detail of Whadyamean in Harry Potter and the Dovahkiin

Stories good, my onpy gripe is how the MC outright ignores his powers sometimes for the point of plot. I can understand forgetting or even ubderutilizing skills and powers as that’s just a human limitation. However I feel as though the MC conveniently forgets things sometimes. The most recent of course being him not putting the horcrux diary in his pocket simension. Which why? Why wouldn’t he do that? It’s what one of the most inportant things pertaining to what could be a deadly enemy. Why didn’t he outright sell the thing to the shop? What could he have possibly wanted from it that didn’t have him do these things immediately? He’s shown to have thought out these issues too. He should realize what’s her face has taken it and just use Clairvoyence to immediately go and get it. However I can feel how he going to go confront her on it, Dumbledore will get involved someonehow, and he’s going to be watched. I understand a-lot of the things that happen in this story and appreciate how the MC has flaws and limitations. What I don’t like is how he struggles to do what needs to be done, or actually confirm some of the most important things to his survival are secure. Realistically he should just go and get the diary without talking to anyone nicking it. What is she gonna do? Accuse him of stealing his own property. Overall I feel like this occurence is like watching the Flash TV show all over again. The MC is getting to the point where he should be able to handle children his age. However because we need conflict the author makes him forget, or suddenly nerfs him in some regard. Again I’m fine with flaws, I’m not those people whining about how he should be perfect. There however should be a certain level of capability because no matter what the guy was what 24 in his past life? At that age you understand that there are some things you cannot forget and make sure get done. And if this situation escalates into a huge issue where the MC couldn’t bring himself to steal his stuff back. Then I’m not to hopeful for what comes next to create conflict. I really like the story I just get the vibes that this is a prelude to a lot of forced conflict that shouldn’t exist.
