Ig u have a point. I'm assuming u said this while knowing how painful it was for the MC. Sure, it increased his rank by 2 whole levels (too OP btw) and made him the first of his age ever to reach C rank, meaning he could use this to reach the top in record time. However, it would probably cement the rumours in people's minds about Alan being a demon or in cahoots with one, as his monstrous growth speed would not be achievable by any human regardless of talent (which is true since he's part-dragon). Also, few people would want to read about a masochistic MC who is also too OP. The pain probably increases the higher he goes, in which case regularly using it could result in the MC's soul/brain dying. Sorry if I seemed to overreact 😅, I just wanted to clear up potential misunderstandings.
