I read the mtl, but no spoilers. Read them at readwn by the way. I randomly put the stars. It's good until about chapter 200. Now, I understand that Chinese novels practically need natio (space just in case) nalism because of the CCP, but the author literally spends some 20-30 chapters with the main character just ruining the Japanese. The author doesn't just make a few demeaning remarks here and there, but literally goes out of his way to make it a crucial part of the story. I understand that Japan did horrible things in 2nd world war, but the author goes out of his way to make every Japanese person literally less than human. The author even goes out of his way to make the Japanese summon this ultra boss, just so the MC can stomp them even further into the dirt. It's honestly ruined this novel for me. What a disappointment.

Indeed, most Chinese authors are like alike in this point

Oh, and it's not just either. MC stomps on Korea as well, albeit it's nothing compared to Japan. From where I'm dropping this novel(at least as of now), a so called "Noah's Ark" arrived carrying Westerners, aka Americans. Oh boy. What's next. The entirery of Europe? Oceania? Russia? Antarctica? Other worlds? It's stuff like this that makes me wish the system had arrived after MC died falling off the cliff. By the way, the biggest reason the nationalism against the Japanese was so irritating is that it was personal to the MC. In fact, he practically flies into a rage as soon as he sees the Japanese. Like what? Literally in the first chapter, we learned he's already spent several years as a rabbit. Why does he still care? God. I only hope he won't infect his fellows with his garbage.

Sigh, thanks for explanations. This kind of a novel is a pass. As you say it would be good if some stories happened after transmigration or whatever, e.g. "Astral Apostle", "I have bunch of players on earth", Legendary Mechanic would be much better if there weren't americans, chinese and so on involved. In some novels they kind of avoid it by never directly interacting between the countries or by unifying the countries to face some common threat. But then again it's usually mentioned about how chinese do better against otherworldy invasion, or it's chinese who run all key facilities and so on of the united world lol.

Then again, "Family Cultivation: My Comprehension Can Be Stored" is a solid cultivation novel whose MC has been transmigrated. The main sect of the region is warring another cultivation country "Izumo" which seems to be.. japanese? Well, it's not directly mentioned so can be ignored and treated as fictional but anyone who is sensitive will notice... Then again these authors write nationalism to get some social credit & continue their career. It's like how we have/had millions of europeans/americans wearing masks, testing. These chinese authors act very similarly - they wear nationalism so that they can keep their job even if they know it's nonsense. "Job" is more important for them than their own consience, morality or truth.

(Following contains spoilers, if you even care) NP. Honestly though this novel is so much worse for racial bias because China isn't winning because MC is superpowering the Chinese players, but because he's literally crippling all of the other nations. He destroys their main cities, the nations literal lifeblood. After that he steals all of their equipment(even the worthless ones), incites infighting, and kills all the players back to level 10(they can't lose anymore exp after that). There's a realization element in this story as well(so the game becomes reality), so he really is killing them. Oh, he destroys every single one of Japan's cities, not just the main one. By the way, the servers are supposed to be country locked. The author comes up with this BS reason that essentially allows the mc to teleport to each of these countries servers. Like what? Just for context, the reason he's able to teleport is because he got SEALED, BUT THE SEAL TELEPORTS. There's also some bs about how Chinese players have the best insults and whatnot, because their culture is apparently the richest. The final thing is that he isn't really even gaining anything out of it. His levels so high compared to all of the players that he shouldn't even be in the region that he is in right now. He's just bullying everyone, and the author makes him a hero for it. I do mean that by the way. Once mc gets back to the Chinese server he's all like "I'm so tired of killing, that I'm just gonna treat you guys nicely." That's not a joke. Remember what I said about that seal? The Chinese players did it. They sealed mc away because it was too strong(but it doesn't work because of course), and now he's thanking them for it.

That's a good point, I didn't think of social credits. I don't feel much sympathy for them to be honest though. Probably because the novel was just that disappointing.
