I was fully engaged during the first chapter, the scene was tense and gritty, but the pace seemed to slow down a bit in the later chapters. I assume we are still early on in the story and that might explains why I’m not sure what direction it’s heading, but overall I love this, and I LOVE the author’s fearless writing style. Nicely done!

Thank you for your positive review, as my first it holds a special place in my heart <3 The pace should speed up soon, I am just trying to find a balance between getting the story across and it not being sped up so the reader doesn't get as emotionally involved in the plot and characters. Hopefully, I achieve that soon. Yes, there is a LOT more to the story than shown so far, I want my archs to be 3D and be mini novels in themselves rather than like in some QT novels where the archs feel like quick 2D stories if that makes sense? Thanks again, hope I continue to entertain.
