A big disappointment for a novel. It starts well, but soon the author starts to contradict himself, complains about the heroes who never kill the villains and arrest them so they can run away and kill/rape again. But when the main character has a chance to make a difference he does the same thing, at first when he was weak he gave the excuse of not wanting to be chased by batman, but when he gets strong he starts coming up with a bunch of lame excuses. Even when he has a bounty on his head and every bandit and mercenary comes after his life, he decides to 'send a message' that no one should do this to him, so what does he do? he beats them and arrests them, so they can go out and continue killing/raping in 1 week when they escape from prison. The author himself demonstrates this when the person who placed the bounty regains consciousness the first thing he says is "Now listen here, you—". Doesn't look like the foolproof plan to beat up the bad guys worked to 'send a message', does it? It makes no sense how anyone wastes time writing or reading this after realizing it. It's just another fanfic with a character that doesn't add anything to the original DC story. He has no desires, he doesn't have a goal he wants to fulfill in the world, he simply exists as a throwaway character, why the hell should I care about this character when he doesn't do anything or wants anything, I should read on just to see him increase his stats for doing nothing and see how strong he gets? 1 star for wasting time reading until the part where the author says how useless the character would be.
