This book is funny with good pacing & world building. Absolutely in love with it and can’t reccomend it enough.

LIKEThe only problem I have is that sometimes the pacing is disrupted by some world building explained in a reiterative way (or infodump idk what's the best way to describe it). For example: the second time they go to the first duchy is said that Julia's uncle was letting the crime enter the duchy/city, some chapters later we have half chapter trying to explain that the uncle was doing his job well and that was not too much involved in the conspiracy against Maria's family. In the same lines is also trying to maintain the image that he was an as**ole. It doesn't happen too often but when you're reading it feels like the novel is more dense than usual and it makes it more difficult to enjoy. The parts I've read until this day are improving so I expect to enjoy reading more and more as the author learns and refines his/her/their(or the correct pronoun for the author) writing style.
