Review Detail of Latidy in Magic System in a Parallel World

This novel is good but like other novels by this author the immersion of the novel is just nonexistent, for me the way the author writes I feel no attachment to the story at all, because all the characters just feel like they're npcs including the mc. all there is for emotion is just "he/she gritted his/her teeth" or "said with a profound expression" which I don't even know wtf that means but whatever. so basically the story and the world background are very good but the characters and writing are monotone and it makes you feel nothing because I can't feel anything or relate to an mc who's only emotion is "grit his teeth" or any other side character. also I feel like I don't know the mc, I think there should've been more focus on the mc's background so I can know what type of person the mc is.
